I think that's evidence of a sort of arrogance. You presume that overweight people are inferior, and that you can use shame and ridicule to make them behave differently.

Obese people know that they're different. They know that their extra weight is not attractive. They spend every waking moment in the awareness of their "defect".

Your solution would solve nothing. You might as well ask if public nudity would solve the drug problem, or if it would cure racism.

The one premise has noting to do with the other.

Possibly, but it would take a long time. Those that were rediculously fat would become depressed when everybody else had a much better body than them. They would probably eat themselves to death much quicker then.

1st , some people who are heavy set will be upset about your question

2nd , no because all the heavy set people would
PROBABLY hang out together & all the thin ones
would hang out together somewhere else

SAD, we should just take people for who they are
NOT what they look like , it's who they are that matters !

no. people would become more accepting and let themselves go. look at naturists and nudists now, not all of them are in really good shape. also i wouldnt want to sit down on any shared chairs.
