Spend 30 minutes looking around suspiciously and picking up items. Then leave your cart sitting outside the bathroom, look around suspiciously and go inside the bathroom for 30 minutes. Take a magazine with you and enjoy yourself. When you emerge from the bathroom engage in more of the same for another 30 minutes. Then put everything you've picked up back neatly in its place with the exception of one very cheap item which you can then proceed to the register with.

These security guys need to justify their existence to their bosses, and the store certainly doesn't want to pay security personnel who are not producing. Were it me, I would waste as much of their time as I possibly could. With a little luck, some real thief will make off with half the store while they're busy watching you.

Don't wear long baggy clothing, don't carry a gigantic bag/backpack, don't try to look nervous, keep your hands where they can see them. Finally, do you have anything to be nervous about? Act normal. If you have nothing to hide, chalk it up to the security personnel being bored and just try your best to enjoy your shopping. If it gets too bad, change stores.

Wear form-fitting clothing, don't carry any purses or bags. Unfortunately some people look naturally suspicious to security types, you might be one of them.
