Citizens arrest?.....?

Question

I have some drug problems in my neighborhood (not serious, but bad enough where something needs to be done)...The police never seem to be around at the right time so I was wondering how to perform a citizens arrest. Can I just arm myself, confront these pieces of s***, and hold them there until the cops come?

these are not serious dangerous drug dealers..haha, their a couple of white trash meth heads.

I know your intentions are good but if you take action such as arming your self.[ wrong as it is] you could end up in more trouble than the meths heads ! Then where would your family be with out you to protect them. Call the police, call crime stoppers, call the TV and newspapers ! Call your city official but do not take matters into your own hands. Your safety and health are more important.

Its better not to confront tweekers as they may have a knife or gun. They will not willingly allow you hold them until the police arrive and may fight to escape. These people stay up for days at a time and may be very irrational if provoked. Even if you do get them arrested, they might know who you are when they get out they may seek revenge. Let the police handle it and if you want, help them by providing information about where and when these illegal activities occur so they can catch them.

call 911 and tell them you have a drug problem in your neighborhood. Don't wait for the comes to simply come around.
And citizens arrest, in my opinion, is the stupidest thing. You're just putting your life in danger.
You're not a Hollywood action hero. You're not living in the lawless West.
Taxes pay for a police force -- use them.
