By 2050 I believe time would be conquered. We would be able to rewind into the past and have a second or fifteenth try at every event. The cause - event relation would be altered to suit man. This would bring a great change in Human relations. Individuals would become more important than the society and every individual would be living many lives simultaneously, thereby creating a society within oneself.

I think about this question alot. What will the world be like in 50 years?
First we should be at max. 50% free of carbon fuel.

We will probably be in another WWR or close to it, with the problems that we are having now and what ever happens then.

The coast lines will be higher, it has been warmer the last three years. Whether that's normal or not its happening already.

I think actual currency will be a thing of the past. It'll all be amounts in debt cards and credit cards.

We will have some new cures for cancer.

We will have more animals on the endanger list.

Man might be in Mars by then.

Going back to the WWR, the war will be based on Religion, oil (cause we will still be needing it just not as much so it will be expensive), and nuclear threats.

laws will change in drug usage so there will be less prisoners, and faster executions.

So we will see.................

The world will become a smaller place with the disparity between the classes becoming greater. Why?
- EU, NAFTA, CAFTA, North American Union (PPP) and then these will merge.
- Increased educational competition worldwide.
- Flow of human resources between countries creating greater competition for available jobs.
- Personal freedom usurped in the guise of security while the instability is allowed to increase thereby allowing tightening of security measures and greater loss of freedoms.
- Increased costs for raw materials as the cost of energy and resources to increase same rise (thereby benefitting a small minority)
- The loss of US leadership in the world as the 2 party system in the US deadlocks on every meaningful initiative due to special interests thereby leaving the power to make decisions in the hands of the president and his political elite.

These are issues which face the USA and therefore many others. We are in the midst of a great shift of wealth and power and we're too busy trying to "get ahead" to realize what is really going on.

"Welcome to the Nightly News For March 18, 2057...this just in...."

"Scientists today confirmed that cigarettes do not cause cancer. Cancer is, in fact, caused by humans who place cigarettes into their mouths, set them on fire, and suck on them"

"Turning to law, a sharply divided Supreme Court ruled that a Delaware law prohibiting monster truck events violates the 1st Amendment. The majority opinion ruled that it was the original intent of the founding fathers for Americans to have the right to inhale diesel fumes and eat corn-dogs in an enclosed area."
