Was there something that happened in the society or something about the culture of American back then that would have caused so many people to like pet rocks? I've researched how it got started, but what I'm really interested in is why? Why would so many people flock to the stores and wait for hours for a pet rock?

I have heard so many people complain about how bad today's youth is (and I'll admit it, many of today's kids are so bad in terms of their behavior and lack of respect). But my question is, from 3 years of working in retail (started at age 16) & from what I've seen in my life, how about many of the older generation (25+)? I've seen older people in college (30+) act like little teenage snobs & gossip and at work I see many people, both elderly and the classic middle class 25-40 married w/ kids types act out irresponsibly and immature. I've seen kids with more respect than some of these older people today, and many older people think they have a right to disrespect young people simply because they think young people don't know anything and they are lesser beings. I'm 19 & have even been threatened with violence by some of these older men (& generally speaking I'm very polite & respectful unlike common-day stereotypes of college age kids). What's your take on that?

Okay, well i've been observing the actions that the people in this season's Real World Denver have done.. and it made me question myself as to whether our youth is really like that?.. now after eating the appetizer the waiter/server comes out with her meal and places it on the table. She says I got full on my appetizer I dont want this meal now. So the waiter/server took the meal back and took it off her ticket. now her attitude wasnt rude and thats not the question. Is the act of not taking the food she ordered rude? She could of just takin it to go. so what do you think?

I have no idea why people stereotype against big people. we are no different. Y do people look at the photo shopped pictures in the magazines when they should know that aren't real. Plz tell me wats with the people against bigger people plz????

It annoys me when people say this. To me it's a big kick in the teeth and basically them saying - next time dont do what YOU want, do it my way because i'm always right!

Here I am again.



Another email I know will go unread and unanswered.



Yet I still sit here and type as if you will read this and think of me.



I had such a bad day today and needed to talk to someone.



I found myself thinking of only you.



Hair the color of the morning sun and eyes I so easily get lost in.

My boyfriend and I went to a gentlemen's club this past friday night and Holy crap those black dancers had the whole crowd of men standing around the stage just tipping away their bucks. They were shaking their rear so fast I had to get up there and tip too! They are so flexible putting their legs behind their necks..I couldn't believe it ! The white and asian girls were not entertaining at all but my boyfriend tipped a few of them because we felt bad for them.

Why would you want to play it so loud in College Dorms that other people have to listen to it? I dont mind Car audio because that is pretty cool , But The whole cellphone thing, Ive seen females sometime just literally talk loud / yell in there phones at my college or at college dorms in the hall during the evening, and it really disturbs the quiet people who are wanting to study, or sleep for school, I mean couldnt you just step outside to talk? or is all that noise from the car audios outside ruining your conversation?

Okay, if you didn't notice from the picture above, I'm a old fart, so if this is a generational thing, let me know.

As a cab driver that only runs nights, I see my fair share of people who are testing their limits for inebriation. Something I notice that the young women do, but the men don't, while very drunk, is call their mothers to say, "I LOVE YOU MOM!"

What is it about being drunk and the need to call Mom, especially without first checking the time?
