Just wondering if anyone could tally up the list of the near 1000 people list of billionaires into the percentage of Jews.
I'm sure it will be interesting if its over 0.33% of the list (the amount of Jews in the world).

That's why they coined Jews as being...well "jewish". They know how to save money and make money! Not sure why, has to be something about the culture and upbringing though!

It would probably be more appropriate to to compare it the percentage of Jews in western countries, which i where most of the people on the list are from and the percentage of Jews is much higher.

I am going to guess and say you are a product of "outcome based" education. The logic that if a percent of a population is a given number, hence the proportion of any activity should be equal to that percent is without merit. It is so narrow focused and flawed that it could only be true in a rigidly enforced, totalitarian society in which only one fact (the percentage) is allowed.
EXAMPLE :
> 16% of US population are of African decent (fact)
> 47% of that population are male (fact)
> 64% of males in prison are males of African decent (fact)
Outcome based logic dictates that only (roughly) 7.5% of prison population should be of African decent.
"Outcome based" conclusion: African decendant males are being unfairly targeted and arrested.
(That is, if that was the "outcome" you wanted).

To answer your question, the % of "JEWS" who are on the Forbes list may be very close to the percent they represent of the population but, after investigating my answer, you may want to keep your eye on African Americans in the entertainment industry and immigrant Asians. Immigrant Hungarians are way to succesful also.

I am sure it will be several times their numbers.
Jews also represent 22% of noble prize winners.
all it means is that they excel at what they do.

the same statement would be interesting concerning noble Laurette's, prophets and lawyers. So?
Jews are simply better.
