I am a 35 years old guy, living in Austin Texas. last night I was at gym of my neighborhood doing exercise and at first nobody else was there but then a guy who was 25 years old came in and he started talking to me about my job and some other thing and meanwhile I saw him that stare at my butt very lustfully and making some lustfully noise. Then he said he is going to come to my home and hang up with me. I left him soon but I am afraid to leave my kids go away in future and also I am afraid that such a person is living in my neighborhood. Please give me advice how can I deal with this situation

I just turned 21 and am in my junior year in college. In May of 2006 my mother's crazy gf from Albany, NY whom she met online came to our little house in Maryland the night after my mother made my father leave the house and go stay with his mother. My mother unplugged and hid the phone so my brother(who is 22 and autistic)sister(19) and I could not call anyone, then they made us pack everything we could in 1 day and move to Albany, NY, and whatever we could not find or bring in 1 day had to be abandoned and was thrown out. I could not even talk to my mother without Crystal yelling at me and threatening to kill me, and when my mother drove me back to Md for college in August Crystal came and cursed my mother's parent's out and my mother said NOTHING, but just looked sad. Now unless I am on campus I must stay with my father at his mother's house where my cousin, her 1 year old twin boys, and 8 year old son are also staying. My father is unemployed, so we can't even get a place of our own

Picture this. You are driving with 4 friends on a highway on your way home from a party. A drunk driver swerves from an opposite lane and hits your car head on with his truck, killing two of your friends instantly. You are pinned down in the backseat, and the gasoline tank catches fire. The flames surround you as you scream, but the paramedics can't get you out of the burning wreckage in time. Meanwhile, your other friend has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition. When the flames on the car die down, you are still alive, and after many hours, they free you from the wreck and put you on an ambulance. When you finally wake up in the hospital, you find that both your friends had died, and your other friend is still in the hospital. You see that the fingers on both your hands are amputated due to the burns, and that you have lost your nose, ears, hair, and lips. You are partially blind because the fire has scorched your eyes, and the burning pain is unbearable.

Because...so they can see imeadiatly when they go below decks on the ship. The rods get bleached when your in the bright sun, and can take up to 30 minutes the readjust but, with the patch you can see right away when it is lifted. TRY IT! You'll see. I just learned it and wanted to share with all the wanna be pirates.

why is it so wrong now days to spank kids.

(Im not a parent and don't plan on being one any time soon), but their are laws that classify spanking, or any other form of verbal/physical discipline as illegal.

how the heck would you disipline kids now?

my school keeps the older students up front and the younger students in the back by grade level, and if you sit outside of your seat area you get kicked off. this isn't a discipline punishment, it just is a bus rule.
is this illegal?

A friend of mine who is left handed says it is needlessly inconvenient because society is oriented for right handed people. Do you find this to be so? How much of an inconvenience is it for you? Any examples you could give? What do you think should be done about it, if anything?

I work with a racist, chauvanistic man. I showed him a picture of my daughters boyfriend who happens to be "turkish"
but was born in texas. He told me that as far as he was concerned the guy needed a bullet between his eyebrows.
I was upset, because I have gotten to know this young man
and he is better than any other guy she has dated. HE is an
american citizen and he has told my daughter that he doesn't
agree with the way things are in Turkey. They are good together
and it really made me feel bad when he said that. Now the guy who said this is a jerk in my book and to be honest, I think hes
jealous because this YOUNG man is working making 17 dollars
an hour and going to college - the guy who made this comment
makes $19,000 a year and he is a very (pardon me) opinionated

we work at a university and diversity is one of the big things here.

I dont know if I explained that right, but they seem like they think, you do your thing, we will do our thing and that is why no countries that I know of dislike them. Meanwhile the US seems to get involved with a lot of other countries which is why a lot of other countries hate the USA. What do you think??

I used to love history class, but know I hate it. My history teacher started teaching at my school this year. I'm in grade 10, and am learning about Canadian history. At first, I thought my history teacher's way of teaching was very refreshing; he pointed out to us biases in history around us, like our textbooks, and told us how the way history is taught to us can affect us. I found this really interesting, and looked forward to going to class. We started doing treaties and even then I could feel like my history teacher was starting to dislike me. He taught us treaties, but he forced his opinion on us. I'm not trying to sound racist or anything, but he kept saying how natvies had been completely racially destroyed . Now, I agree with him, but I like to hear both sides of the story,so I questioned him a couple times and he just said “I disagree" and brushed me off. I feel like if I don't regurgitate his views, he'll hate me even more. Can racism go both ways? What should I do?

During the Holocaust, Half-Jews were called mischlings, right? But, also knowing that just being called a Jew was taken as an insult, because people were so predjudiced and hateful toward Jews, its hard for me to tell whether being called a mischling was used in a derrogitory or just as a label (like caucasian, *****, etc.). So was mischling used as a derrogitory term? Please, no hateful comments. Thanks.
