A friend of mine who is left handed says it is needlessly inconvenient because society is oriented for right handed people. Do you find this to be so? How much of an inconvenience is it for you? Any examples you could give? What do you think should be done about it, if anything?

I am left-handed and I do not feel that I'm discriminated against. Probably, because I'm against all this excess politically correct bull-crap that is ruining our society. Sometimes I can't cut with scissors, but I'm not going to go out and file a lawsuit about me being discriminated against.

I don't think any discrimination against us south paws is intentional. I can tell you that knife blades are for right handed people, scissors are hard to use, we tend to look at magazines right to left. There are some things that are a bother but not so much life altering.
The only thing I would like is to have the stuff for south paws to be more reasonably priced. That is a huge problem. They are overpricing lefty stuff. The overpricing is intentional.

I don't think it is discrimination because the majority of righties don't even realize that there is a problem, and I feel that discrimination must be acknowledged.
ust leave some left handed knives, scissors, etc. lying around and see how many people just can't use them and can't figure out why! It is pretty amusing and highlights the fact that righties are clueless.

nope, I was never discriminated for being a left handed. It's a tough life, but we all got used to it that you won't even notice---although scissors sometimes still bother me. Aside from that, everything is fine!
