why did people ever let things like the government, police force, motor vehicles obtain so much control over us. why do they get to decide who can drive and who can't, who gets put into jail, who has to fight in wars that they don't even believe in, what substances you can put into your body and what ones you can't, etc. etc.. no, i'm not asking would we still have any kind of order if there were no government, i'm just asking why people started letting others of the same species have more power than anyone else. what do you think?

I have been deaf all my life and I cant say that it has had any negative impact on me until recently. My Boss now has insinuated that it could be a problem for me in my job ( I`m in Sales)

I have no problem explaining to people that I need them to look at me when they talk so that I can lip-read them and they seem to have no problem in doing it for me. I have been in the job for over 2 years and it only now seems to be an issue.

I beleive its because I need time off to have another Operation on my ears. This will actually improve things so wheres the problem.?

My daughter is at boarding school and is getting unreasonable treatment from the staff- who seem to be over punishing her for a previous misdemenour. I would intervene but i'm afraid it could make things worse. She's leaving in July- Do you think i'm right in advising her to lay low and comply?

This is that question people always ask when they hear about shootings in their community,. I am british and as of late gun crime and knife crime is on the rise. As always, the government fail to see the practical things that could be done to prevent such events occuring but instead they use a scapegoat such as rap music and its lyrics.

Do you think the lyrics in rap tracks are to blame for this?

Please if you don't even like rap music and will just use this question as an opportunity to say rap is crap or something like that, please don't. This is a serious question for those who feel strongly about this subject.

Also which one song in rap do you think is the worst (in your opinion) in terms of gratuitous violence portrayed in the lyrics? There are many but in your mind, which flat out depicts violence and advocates gun and knife crime?

Has anyone ever had a dream about something that actually happened a few days/weeks later?? I have had a few dreams about places or something happening and then later I would see it on tv or would see it happening. One example of a dream I had was at a reception and there were 3 people there, then the phone rang and a few other things happened. Then one time we were at the coast at a hotel and the same people from the dream where there and the phone rang at the exact same time it did in the dream and the same words etc... Its not exactly an important thing that happened but I had dreamt it and the same thing happened about some other things - stuff on the news ......

Has anyone else had something similar to this and has seen something in the future??
