I'd let people be different. Life would be pretty boring if we were all the same.

What is this 'unknown' you are afraid of? Is it people from a different background and/or culture to yourself?

If you get to know other people you would quickly discover that a) everybody is an individual and therefore different to everybody else and b) everybody has something in common: they are all human. They all have faults, they all make mistakes, they all have good points and bad.

If you are scared of meeting other people this is quite common. There are ways of overcoming it. Why not try getting some advice?

We are all afraid of the unknown to some extent. Variety is the spice of life so we should make an effort to understand people from different cultures and backgrounds. There is so much to learn.

It's normal for you to feel the way you do, however, you shouldn't treat anyone any different from the way you would like to be treated. The bible says do unto others as you would have them do unto you. You are walking around with your eyes wide shut!! I challenge you to lift the blinders from around your eyes so you can see the world in "technicolor" instead of "black and white" as you apparently see it and marvel at how beautiful diversity truly is. What would the world be like if everyone were the same? I'm not sure about you(well actually I am), but I wouldn't want to exist in that world.

I think different is awesome! I once met some people from Brazil about 20 years ago and a lady had her baby in one of those slings. It was the coolest thing and now all the celeb moms walk around like that.

So quit being such a xenophobe. Your concept of foreign is someone else's idea of normal.

I can not say fearing those we do not know is a good thing. I like to understand things and people before I annihilate it/them.

Everyone is unique..you can't destroy everyone else ,you'd be alone in the world. In which way different..colour,money,looks,..............................sporting prowess,religion..the list is endless.Find which differences bother you most then try to figure out why.

No. But then again, we are all different. Personally, I find different people of different races very interesting.

Completely normal. If you meet someone different, just take off your clothes and chuck them at their feet. That'll slip them up...
