Life is pretty boring right now and I wondered if there was anything fun or interesting to do in life?

That depends on you. Generally, it's the one you love, that pays its own way.
Photography? Sculpture? Painting? Gardening?
It's all a matter of what YOU find fascinating.

I live in a pretty desolate area myself. I never knew why I liked to do so many things, I guess its because of my environment.
Here's a list of my hobbies:
* Writing long & short fiction
* Sketching/Painting
* Photography
* Music (piano/keyboard)
* Making graphic t-shirts and fabric with my computer
* Sewing, which is more recent

well it depends on two things money and a what you like i personally enjoy taking walks if it nice outside also try swimming or something active to stay in shape.
