As a UK citizen, and proud of my nationality and my country despite its faults, I was talking recently about it and we agreed that despite being over taxed, the crappy weather, the political correctness gone mad and the chav culutre... we really would stick by this country of ours
However, with the possibility of far right groups like the BNP getting the popular vote, and the state instituted racism that would follow, would something like that make you think about leaving?
(it might me, depends the extent and brutality. I have many friends who have foreign passports but were born here and are as English as I. I wouldnt live in a country that tore families and society apart. After the immigrants, who next? Gays? Gypsies? You cant deport them, so what happens to them? I am proud of being British for the right reasons, and if I lost that I wouldnt be able to stay here)
And to the people that HAVE left, what was it that made you go? Do you consider your nationality left behind?
