This question is aimed at Indians. I have had some unpleasant experiences which I am sure many others like me have felt. I am dark skinned, and I am proud of my skin, but fed up with the reaction of people around me.

1. I have faced lots of comments behind my back because of my colour behind my back, especially in college. Sometimes I am even teased directly.

2. In college, initially, hardly any girl would speak to me. When I started driving my car to college, girls&guys I had never even met before wanted to be friends. I was appalled by the shallowness of it all.

3. Come marriage and the first thing that people ask is details of colour, followed by money. This applies to both guys and girls. It is really sickening. Has the importance of character been diminshed?

The first two points really disgusted me and I am most not getting involved in any relationship because I just cannot believe that I would find someone who will respect me for what I am. Where is my country headed?

haha I know this question is totally random, but I think its the most amusing thing ever...I know alot of guys who confess to me that they have to..as in MUST take off all there clothes before they use the restroom, maybe not necessarily while they are peeing, but for the other way, yes. I was just wondering if this is a common thing amongst guys, or maybe to women also. :)

... and of course it killed our marriage, so how do I move on from here?
I managed it all wrong--you're not going to believe this, but when she would go 'drug crazy' and demand money for drugs, I would give it to her... I reasoned that if I didn't, she would do something for it that could get her murdered or raped. She also stole--yes, stole--thousands of dollars from me over our marriage. And EACH time I caught and confronted her, she broke down into tears, and I forgave her.
She cheated on me with four other men in our marriage... and if she admitted to four, there was probably more.

How does someone get into that state where she will use and abuse the one she claimed to love? Is it 100% certain that she didn't actually love me but simply used me? Is it inevitable that she will treat all future men in her life like she did me?

Should I try to laugh this experience off as a bad joke? I don't think I will ever get over what she did to me.

I've been living in Canada for a while now with my parents, almost ten years (since I was 9), and we've never really had a good neighbourly bond. And the incident where the neighbours on the left crashed their car into the side of our house and tried to claim that "our house is on THEIR property" didnt help much either (they moved away a while ago though).

Does anyone have neighbours that they could trust their keys with if they went on vacation?

As a teacher i firmly believe that our goverment has lost its way with education. pupils are tested in year 6 SAT's, year 7 as soon as they arrive and as they finish the year, in year 9 SAT's, year 10 IF they are taking their GCSE exams early and Year 11 for other exams. All this just so our goverment can justify NOT puttingenough money into education but having DATA to prove it's doing it's job....Do you agree? are our pupils over tested?

Last week NBA homosexual John Amaechi sent shockwaves throughout the sporting world last week when he announced, much to the surprise of his family and friends—in addition to NBA players and fans—that he lived a double life.

Cavaliers teammate Terrell Brandon said. "Sure, I saw John around the the locker rooms, but I didn't want to jump to any conclusions. He didn't look like a he was gay.

former Jazz teammate John Stockton said. Oh, please—I knew it all along, look at the way he dressed—mesh shorts, low-top sneakers, and those little socks that only go up to your ankles. There was, in my opinion, no doubt that he was, at least a little bit.

"I can't believe I showered with that guy," said former Jazz teammate Karl Malone, who played with Amaechi for two seasons. "I mean, it's just weird.

Though he refused to name names, Amaechi said that he knows other NBA players who, unsuspected by the NBA are also living double lives.

i am constantly worrying that what i do wont be right or will be judged by other people. i never really know what to wear, and will stress about what i am wearing if there is some sort of dress code or dress up. i feel like this stems from a complete lack of confidence i have with myself. i will feel so bad about what people may think, i will not go to the party at all, or leave before i get there. how can i feel more confident in who i am and what i am doing and just stop worrying about everything so much? people always say just take it easy, stop worrying, but i cant, because those thoughts just keep going around in my mind
