I know exactly how you feel. I am in management of a tow boat company and thats all I hear: cry, pout, n-bytch. I tell them all the time, I don't ask you to do anything that I didn't do when I was on crew. I always looked at it like this. They pay me to be here 12 hours a day, so I should do what they ask me too, and not worry about what everyone else is doing, or if it's fair. Recently I decided to leave managemet and become a captain. I'm not one yet, but I am captaining a vessel under supervision. After the first day I just cut loose and told my crew: if you don't want to work, get the hell off my boat. I can't stand people that think they are owed somthing, or that they should get paid and not do their work. So no, it's not just you. Many of us with good work ethics are sick of cry baby lazy-asss co-workers.

Yep, I hate to hear a complainer or someone who constantly talks about how ill they are.
