That would be Sole and it means only. A beneficiary is the recipient of a bequest or a will or someone who benefits from an event or action.

The only One who Benefits

ok, in cases like... when somebody dies for example, there is a will to be sorted. sometimes that person will leave everything to one person who is called the sole beneficiary. as sole or soul as you put it (which is wrong by the way, it is sole like the other person said) means 1 or only and beneficiary means to benifit you can kinda see why it's called the sole beneficery. does that help?

It means whoever is named as sole beneficiary is the one who collects the money, etc., on whatever account or insurance policy that names that person as sole (or only) beneficiary should the owner pass away.

I think what you're looking for is "sole beneficiary," which means the only one who would be awarded benefits from a life insurance policy.

A "sole" beneficiary would be the only person to inherit or benefit from an estate or bequest. I.e. sole= single and or only. A beneficiary is the person who receives the estate or bequest.

what?!? who benefits your soul in the end is either the devil or st. peter.

seriously, what you probably mean is Sole Beneficiary. Sole means one and Beneficary, one who benefits. If you designate only one beneficiary in your insurance or will, then only person will receive whatever you had in the event of untimely demise.

Hmm... I think that a soul beneficiary is the person who recieves money, property, and possesions of a person who has died. It seems to fit, but I could be wrong!

Means the one & only person.
For example:- In a will, a person will put one person as the soul beneficiary which means that person wil get everything when they die.

That's sole beneficiary. Not soul.

Now does that make sense?

If not, it means one beneficiary only. The only beneficiary.
