I found some discussion about one of my youtube videos, only it was in a language that I don't understand. As the board they were talking on was .ro, I figured it was Romanian, but it doesn't translate on the translator programs I found. I also tried Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, German, Italian, French, Swedish, Czech, and a variety of others.

So can anyone tell me what language it is, and if you understand it, what it means? Thanks. :)

e o piesa cam sentimentala dar ideea video-ului este despre relatia dintre Anakin Skywalker si Padme Amidala"

Is there a site out there where I can just type in a word(for example, "counter") then press "Translate" and it lists its translation in a bunch of languages? I know there is a lot of translation sites where you have to change the language each time you translate(too long)

Ok, I have a question about how to spell "Ugly" in German. I always thought that it was spelled "Häβlich"... But recently I was told by my brother that it's "Hässlich"... Then, I also saw this letter "ß" and was wondering... Just WHAT is the correct spelling of "Ugly" in German?

No online translators, please! Thanks!

Also, I'm trying to learn German, is anyone here who speaks German willing to help me out? Thanks everyone!

i want to study child education in Australia for 2 years. I like this country. But I don't want to get an Australian accent. However, Studying in the UK is expensive. Is there any 2-year child education course in the UK? My British teacher told me it is difficult for her and Americans to understand Australian spoken English. Someone told me not to worry because as a Chinese it is not so easy for me to get an australian accent so quickly. I find that British accent is easier for me to hear and understand. I am afraid I would learn Australian accent unintentionally and speak like them. How to avoid this? And maybe it is difficult for me to understand their accents when comparing to British and American accents.I like British accent most.
Should I not study there? Any advice please?

In many countries, most folk can speak many languages. If they are educated, they can really speak another language. When a foreigner viisits the USA, we talk with him/her in English and expects him/her to understand. Even when it is obvious that the person does not understand, we continue to speak as though he/she does. In other words, we are ethnocentric in our view on the world. In essence, we are saying everyone should speak English, and he/she is stupid if he/she cannot. We live in America. America is NOT the USA; it is Canada all the way down to the tip of Argentina. America's languages are English, Spanish, French and a few others.
When foreigners from Europe and Asia come here, they assume that educated folk speak more than one language. Why are we not bilingual, at lease in English/Spanish.

No hate please!!! A black is asking the question, not hispanic. Do not respond with anti-Mexican rhetoric. I am anticipating serious responses.

The mum and dad have gone out leaving the kids with non English speaking grandparents. The son and grandad are playing football and the grandmother is watching. The boy has taught the grandparents to shout 'Boll***s' when a goal is scored. Hilarious as it is to watch this lovely old couple, (her with her sari on) shouting 'Boll***s' and jumping up in the air I really feel as though I should say something. What would you do?
