The Alliance Francaise is a French Government sponsored institution that teaches french in a lot of countries in the world.
Check with your french consulate if there is an Alliance Francaise in your town or country.
Good luck!

most of the people that learned french give up learning when they realise that they couldn't catch what a french native speaker spoken. me myself have a problem of that. but by keep listening french everytime you have time, no matter it from a Radio, french TV, music or anything. i'm sure in less than two months your ears will catch every single sentences a french person is talking

I learnt it at Alliance Francaise! You should learn it too, it's not that difficult! Yes, it's preferable to have a tutor for the pronunciation and all!

i learned it at the alliance francaise of my city, it not only teaches you the language, also the usual ways, politics, law, origin of woirds, etc because it comes straight from france, i'm sure it's almost every country, beacuse they want to show their language and ways to the world, i also travaled with them to a summer class, that way u´ll learn the real accent, way of thinking, etc besides is a experience of life. it's important to know how much you get along with languages, not everybody make it (i´m sure you would) it was kinda easy to me because it's very similar to spanish which is my 1st language, also to italian, etc, that's because all of them (and others) come from a common root which is latin
