One is over the alphabet, and the other is over 23 different words!! That's insane. It's only the second week of school! I need help studying all of that. Any tips?? I really need to pass this class.

It's not insane. It's about the right amount of work. One tip is spend the amount of time studying that you spend on the computer chatting.
In seriousness -- flashcards are a good way to learn vocabulary. Take it one step at a time, rather than worrying about everything at once.

Make some flashcards for the words.
Also, try to associate each word with something
ridiculous. For example
pájaro--PA? HAR! OH? That's for the BIRDS!
BTW, what are the 23 words? If you could
post them, maybe I could help you find some
help with them.
