Can anyone explain how this salutation evolved to be plural in Spanish only. Other romance languages Portuguese, French, Italian are happy with "good day" not "good days." Any ideas how this came about?

Hola Gente,

Soy estudiante de español y quiero saber cómo pronunciar palabras sin "la" or "el" 's'. Lo oigo en Reggeaton y otros lugares. ¿Hay reglas? Gracias.

I would like to know what are the rules governing that sexy gangster like speech. It tastes good; it is pleasing to me. I hear all the time in songs and when people talk it sounds like 'dijite' en vez de 'dijiste'. It's not for every word tho, you know what I mean? If anyone can tell me what's up with that they get 10 points.

I'm just tryin to become more fluent and knowledgeable.

My English conversation book recommends using "Thank you for everything" instead of "Thank you for your kindness" when we express our appreciation to those who well treated us. Is this correct? How do you use those phrase in your daily conversation.

I know this sounds like a stupid question but I want to start doing some freelance writing projects for extra money and I don't have a degree. I haven't been in high school in 13 years so I'm a little rusty with the specifics of writing. I just know how to get the idea across, basically. What is a good way to learn (quick) without going to college?

I've been helping out some people to learn some Spanish over the net. And it has been common to see they are interested in learning how to curse even when they are not able to ask for a glass of water.
Should people learn how to curse before they learn how to greet?

Someone from asian emailed me something I cant read. Please tell me what language this is and what it means: 在我们的日常生活中,男左女右,好像约定俗成地渗透到了我们社会生活的各个方面。上公共厕所,男左女右;戴婚戒,男左女右;另外,还有照结婚玉照,夫妻二人出席某些礼仪场合等等...全文. Thanks

There was a lady who I thought had just came to the U.S. But she told me she had been at her current job for 23 years. I couldnt understand a word she said. It happens all the time. Geez, what do these people want us, who are trying to have a conversation with them, to do? When their accents make the english language, their foreign language.
