I DON'T REALLY KNOW ANYONE SEEING AS HOW I'M NEW!
AND I NEED HELP!

The folks in my office are trying to plan our christmas party.. they want to do a gift exchange... a random type, but every year they do the same thing... that game where everyone gets a number and then you pick a gift or take someone elses... we want to do something different this year... looking for any other ideas that would be fun.

My Great Aunt invited me and My boyfriend to Thanksgiving at My Other Aunts house. She never told my other that she was having company or hosting Thanksgiving. So when we all got there at her house, there was no Turkey and no food whats so ever....My Aunt is a business woman that never cooks. She went to the store and grabbed an already cooked" Chicken" There wasnt enough food so after me and my bf went to McDonalds....how about you?

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and my family is having over 25 people. I need some idea's of what to do once the eating is done. Please nothing bad alot of these people are very religious.

I've heard you can stuff the turkey before its cooked and there will be no problem. I've also heard that if you stuff it before its cooked you can end up with salmonela poisoning. My mom usually stuffs it before its cookedand so far nothings happed but I'd like to know are we just lucky? Someone calm my turkey day fears

ok, so it's thanksgiving in a couple of days & i have invited a co-worker for thanksgiving dinner to our house for reasons that he cant afford a dinner for thanksgiving,(times are tough) it'll be him, his wife, & daughter. . .my hubby & myself. Well, Ive cooked thanksgiving dinner for my man & myself the last 3 yrs, & u know whether it comes out great or not, we still eat it, this will be our first thanksgiving with company & i want to know. . . how do u cook a great turkey? U know, golden brown, juicy, & a great flavor. I was watching Martha Stewart the other day & she used a "cheese cloth" & her turkey looked golden brown, it looked delicious. Where can I buy a "cheese cloth"? Does anyone know a great website where I can get great 'turkey cooking" tips. . . I want my co-worker & his family to have a great dinner. . . any help &/or ideas would be great, thanks!!!!

When my (soon-to-be) step-father and mother chose this day I thought it was very "cool & unique". They celebrated with "cards" each year. Then when "leap-year" rolled around they really "partyed it up"! IE, trip to Reno/ Vegas, shopping spree, fine- dining etc. XOXO Moonpie

My boyfriend is a Physical Education teacher at an elementary school. So most of his co-workers are female. When they have school functions the other teachers refuse to acknowledge my presence, even after he intruduces me. They seem very catty to me and I don't understand because I am a very outgoing person and I try very hard to converse, but they just act as if I am not there. I have even had a couple of them to walk in between us and embrace him and stand with there backs to me. Why would they react to me in this manner? I have never had this problem with anyone else in this kind of setting.

I need some adivce or prayers. I'm having dinner for the first time at my boyfriends grandparents house. We dated for a couple of years but always had to work on Thanksgiving so I could never go. Its a tradition for the newest guest at the table to say grace before dinner, and that would be me. I never prayed before eating. What do I say? Don't tell me to go to church, I do sometimes. But I never had to say grace in front of a lot of people. I don't want to be rude and refuse. Any suggestions or prayers to say?
