I took a job away from family and friends a lil over a year ago and cant get home to see them on thanksgiving, so my boss who i absolutely adore has invited me to spend thanksgiving with him and his family who I also adore. What is a good gift or bring along. He alreayd said he has enough wine, should i just bring something for their son instead?

Well see my dad is a hardworker, he has everything he needs so no clothes,tie,cologne,socks I want something different this year we always give him the usual stuff that seems to sit in the closet all the time! My dad pretty much works all day and on weekend he likes to be in his garden! Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!!!!

I am bringing the ham to Thanksgiving dinner at my brother's house this year. This woman at work told me that after I thaw out the ham to prepare it to cook, to put an inch of water in the bottom of the pan and then pour an entire can of coca-cola over the ham. She swears by it and says it makes the meat taste so good and tender. I was really leary about doing this but now I wonder if it's not that bad of an idea to try once. What do you think?
