I'd love my children to experience a snowy white christmas, they were too young to remember the last one we had in the uk.

I would love a white Christmas as I have never seen one, but I have it on good authority they are truly magical.

I'm a big kid a heart.

I've never understood the fascination with snow at Christmas. Even the most devout "christian" readily acknowledges that snow never played any role whatever, in the story around which Christmas is built. Christmas is, of course, acknowledge pretty much throughout the world, and half of the world has never been snowed on at all, most especially that part of the world where the "story of Christianity" actually began.
If a person wanted to see Snow in winter, why even attach it specifically to Christmas? New Year usually gives people a few days off, and there are quite a few weekends during those chilly winter months.. How about wishing on a star, for a made-to-order, picture postcard fall of snow - nothing frightful.. maybe five or six inches -- and those biiiiig soft flakes that come floating down out of the sky, and land just thick enough to for the briefest time, turn your corner of the world into a winter wonderland, where you can enjoy making the first prints across your yard? Just the kind of winter scene you can use as a backdrop for some "memory pictures" with the camera.

Yes, I would. It would be great if it started snowing at about 2230 in Christmas Eve, so that when you get up on Christmas morning, open the curtains and see a wonderful scene.

I would be quite happy if it continued snowing till, say, April. You can't beat a bit of chaos.

I don't mind if it snows on Christmas Day, but I wouldn't want the snow to last too long.

I'm going to do Xmas in Egypt, so none of that for me, but if you really want that, go to Switzerland. I grew up next to there and it's the ideal Xmas feeling. Beautiful, slow and covered in snow.
