I agree with most of the posts already here, you may be too late. I normally go to Disney over Thanksgiving, although this year I am not, and it is always quite hard to get reservations so late, especially for Thanksgiving. Liberty Tree Tavern is the most likely choice for Thanksgiving, so stear clear of that, even though it is a great place to eat. Even on some of the farthest dates from Thanksgiving, it is a popular place, so if you get in on Thanksgiving, you are a lucky person. My suggestion, and where I normally eat for Thanksgiving dinner/lunch is Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. They have a great Thanksgiving meal there. I normally go for lunch, as it is less busy at lunch time there, so try that first. Their Thanksgiving dinner includes Maple Ham, Turkey, Chicken, Potatoes(mashed), beans and corn (I believe), Pumpkin Pie, Stuffing, Gravy, and possibly a few more things that I am not remembering (It has been a year since I was last there!). The meal really fills you up, and there is more than enough for all. It is a bit more likely that you will get in there, as long as you book now, the closer to Thanksgiving you get, the less tables will be open. Most restaraunts in the parks will already be filled up, but you might have a change at Whispering Canyon Cafe. I would also suggest staying away from ALL parks on Thanksgiving Day, not just the Magic Kingdom will be busy. I don't suggest a water park either, as they are pretty busy as well. Try going Mini-Golfing, as that is what my family normally does on Thanksgivng after a meal at Whispering Canyon. There are normally a few other families there, but it is not too busy. If you have young kids that have homework, that would also be a good day to do homework. Or you can just sit around your TV in your hotel room with some popcorn and enjoy a movie with your family. These are all good suggestions of what to do to avoid the large crowds in the parks. I hope you have a fun and magical vacation! Good Luck! ~EE~

Where I live I saw that the Golden Corral is having Thanksgiving dinner. I don't know if you have any Golden Corrals in your area or not. Good luck, and Happy Thanksgiving

Truck stops always serve turkey dinner on turkey day. (and if you're a truck driver under a load on turkey day, they give the meal for free , or at least they used to years back .....my husband drives)
