Yes they are. All banks, state, federal and local offices are closed also

The bank I go to is open on the 24th. You will probably just have to call your bank and ask.

Yes. Banks are open Friday, Nov. 24. They are only closed on Thanksgiving Day.

the day after thanksgiving? they should all be open if they want to stay in business long , that is the primo day for spending $$, by the time they come back on monday there will be 5 days paperwork to catch up on

also remember...it is illegal for banks to stay closed for more than 3 days in a row.

Nope, it is not an official holiday. A few might be closed but in general they are not.
