Sit around and talk? Catch up on how the family is doing? Send the kids off to play some board games?

commonly, we've both a turkey and a ham. continually have stuffing. each and every from time to time, we are going to stuff it contained in the turkey. hand-crafted potato salad and mac & cheese (this stuff continually runs out previously something else). :) both eco-friendly beans & eco-friendly peas. Mashed potatoes. Cranberry sauce. Yams. i'm sensible i'd be reminded of four or 5 different dishes day after today. a minimum of three sorts of pie. Pecan, pumpkin, and sweet potato are required. someone in various of circumstances supplies you a fruit pie option. adequate tea & bottled water to feed a busload of persons. i'd pick to discuss that fairly some human beings assemble for our Thanksgiving dinner and fairly some the human beings in my family contributors are "huge" those with very hearty appetites (and a lot of those human beings have a minimum of two youngsters). Thanksgiving is such as a family contributors reunion for me. everyone looks quite somewhat spread out throughout the time of the rustic and that i will purely have adequate money to visit such fairly some human beings in the course of the 12 months. Oh, and a contented Thanksgiving to you too.

Ah, yes. the eternal question. We normally watch a movie, normally "Miracle on 34th Street" because it starts at the Macy's Day Parade. We also enjoy board games or playing cards. Or you could hand out pillows and blankets and let everyone take a nap. We also normally draw names for Christmas girfts for the adults at some point.

We usually play games like Pictionary or Charades. And get really hammered. But keep the kids out of the booze.

Watch a holiday movie. It's a Wonderful Life is a classic favorite, and a great way to unwind and bond with family.
