I like the magic 8 ball idea but they have one that is "The Excuse Ball" it gives 20 different excuses like, my dog ate it or car trouble. There is also, Affirmation Ball Messages, Financial Ball Messages, My Analyst Ball Messages, and Sarcastic Ball Messages. Any of these balls would be very funny gifts for work and they are cheap as well.

Since you don't know who will be receiving the bad, get something generic. Go to See's Chocolates and get $25 worth of chocolate in a pretty box. If the person doesn't like chocolate, they can always re-gift it to someone else for the holidays.
(and just a friendly note - please stop using all caps in your posts, it's very poor online etiquette.)

Some of the others that answered your question gave really good ideas, so I will not add to the list. However, I will tell you what not to get - CHOCOLATES. One year I got about 10 boxes of chocolates and wouldn't you know that was the year I was fat. It hurt my feelings that people thought all I wanted for Christmas was candy. So please don't buy candy just incase someone is dieting.

In that case, Just get $25.00's cash stick in an envelope and let the person buy their own gift. This way you won't be buying something they won't like or you have to take back to the store...
That's all I ever did. And it worked out great. People appreciate it better.

A basket with treats in it for movie night....popcorn, candy, and a dvd of a newly released movie.
Or, a basket for a dinner, like pasta, pasta sauce, bread mix, and a dessert mix.
