Oh dear. This is your cardinal mistake. You are the only one who can find something for your own wife! Anyone can give you an answer - diamonds, a helicopter tour of the city lights, a day at the spa - but you are the only one who can make it personal.

The only thing I know about your wife is that she is a woman. And the only common thread that is constant among most of our gender is that we want gifts that are creative and meaningful. The only way to ensure that is to do the homework yourself.

Sounds like you want to make it special, so you're on the right track. Good luck!!

Sun sign: Gifts for Leo Leos love gifts. They will appreciate more the fact that you thought of them than the actual present. (True!!) However, if you want to make them really happy, buy something of which they could be proud of: a mobile phone, a funny shirt or a pet. (I guess lol) The best colours for Leo are orange-red hues. (I love all colours :P) Gift Ideas: favorite music CDs, concert tickets, electronics, a funny shirt, interior design objects, a pet, something made by you (for example a woven bracelet). I'd be happy with any of those :) Rising: Gifts for Cancer Firstly, the fact that you bought him a present is a sign that you thought of him and this will make the Cancer very happy. (Yes :D) It would be ideal to buy him something he already said he wants- to prove that you are permanently listening to what he says. (Doesn't matter, there are money matters ya know?) In any case, be sure that any gift will bring him great joy, especially because it comes from you. Even if it is a bracelet which he would normally consider a horrible thing, he will wear it with pride, as a proof of your love for him. Anything related to the occult or has a Spiritual touch will surely fascinate him. The color that suits him the best is blue. (Blue actually suits me best) Gift Ideas: a painting, fluffy slippers, a fresh perfume, a book in the series " How to start your own business', a religious icon, a charm, a meditative music CD. I'd be fine with any of them except for a religious icon. I'm not religious

I love Kodak's Easyshare Gallery website. You can upload pictures of you and your wife (or your kids, pets, favorite vacation spots, etc.) and turn your photos into really neat gifts. You can make mugs, aprons, t-shirts, pillowcases, memory books, magnets, Christmas ornaments, teddy bears, and collages out of your photos. The quality is really good, and you're guaranteed to have a one-of-a-kind gift for her.

She may also like a nice set of pajamas/slippers or lotion/soap/bath products from Victoria's Secret or Bath and Body Works. You might also want to consider something fun for both of you to do together- maybe a badminton net for your backyard, a board game, tickets to a play/sporting event/concert that you know SHE (not necessarily you) would like, etc.

Maybe a certificate for the two of you to have your portraits done together. Or buy her a facial and massage (trust me...we love them and never have the time or want to spend the money). My husband always takes me "shopping" and we walk around a bunch of different stores. I point out different things I like and then he goes back later and tries to remember then picks a few things that I chose. That way, he knows I already liked it and I still don't know what he's buying till I open it. Jewelry is good, flowers are not......neither is negligee'.....You could also make your own gift certiciates....like....One free day...or I will do the dishes after dinner......One free backrub, foot massage......I will cook dinner.....just different things, add private one in too. You could buy a bunch of smaller things that you know she likes and send her on a scavenger hunt to find them......Give her the first one and include a note giving clues leading to the next...and so on to one bigger gift (jewelry or gift card or whatever)...Good Luck.....and Congratulations on being so thoughtful !!!!
Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas !!!!!

One year my husband gave me the gift of his time and attention. We were a little short cash that year, and had to scrimp to make ends meet.

After all the family had left the house, I went upstairs to get ready for bed, when I came back down the stairs he had the candles lit, soft music playing, and made the rest of the evening ours. It was special and romantic - he does it now every year for me, and I look so forward to it!

She is a lucky lady if you are seeking that extra something special to give her, but remember it isn't always about how much you spend, but instead it is the thought that counts.

A suggestion: come up with a theme and base gifts on that. It doesn't have to be something obvious like her favourite TV show--- it could be something like "an evening together"--- you could get a season of her favourite show on DVD, stuff a stocking with popcorn and other movie treats, a bottle of her favourite beverage.... get a romance game from somewhere like shopinprivate.com, and top it off with a romantic coupon book with coupons for things like "two hours of cuddling" or even something like "3 hours control of the remote" for her.

Again, just a suggestion. :) And of course, if you do use "an evening together" as a theme- make sure you don't take off on her as soon as she pops in a DVD of her favourite show--- even if it is something like Gilmore Girls. She'll appreciate the time you spend cuddling with her as much as, if not more than, the gifts themselves.

Perfume
Lingerie
a CD or DVD that she wants
a new purse and wallet
a gift certificate for a massage is always nice
Nice lotions and body sprays from Bath n Body works
If she reads, a book.

Think about her hobbies, maybe she needs a new tennis racket, or maybe she likes board games, or likes to bake. Just make it special. Merry Christmas!

Any girl likes stuff to pamper herself with. Get her some nice scented body wash, bubble bath, some body spray that you know that she likes, because girls are always dropping hints about what they like. Just file them away in the back of your mind and surprise her with a basket of stuff that she has told you that she likes. Guarenteed to earn you a big Christmas kiss!
