My kids hated me for telling them there was no Santa Claus. I rented some movies to show them that St Nicholas was a real person and that's where we get the stories of Santa Claus in America, although exaggerated quite a bit. Then my son asked me if I had enough money and could build a toy shop in at the North Pole, would I and could it be possible? I've often wondered whether it'd be possible to build a large factory like that, not necessarily at the North Pole, but somewhere and whether someone hasn't already done it.

You have mothers fathers day,Easter,ect.Birthdays are for everyone.But why is there not a childrens,even adult day?You know like"sons day is coming up what do you think we should get him"?Same goes for daughters day.Theres not though.Mabey some one will get what im saying.It doesnt bother me at all,i would rather give gifts than receive,but i just wonder.

im a bit, yes...gay, mind you, but i want to have a fab sweet 16. will it scar me for life as the gayest guy in the school yearbook or be a success and probably be in mtv (oh, i got the money =)). i just dont want people (*cough* dad) to notice im THAT gay. is it a stupid idea? hey, i only turn 16 once.


to any rude remarks im sure i will hear about my orientation, love is a force of nature: brokeback mountain, good movie.

I'm working in a haunted house, and my group would like some ideas to help add to the experience. What is the one thing any haunted house should have? Someone whom I care about is graduating in the beginning of August, and I want to make something special for her. But the thins is is that I won't be able to see her at all...and the only way of communicating is by means of phone and IMs...but I have her mailing address and everything, and she doesn't know that I'll be sending something to her on her special day. She's getting her Master's, and I was thinking of making one of my specialty cards and then a big piece of something and putting together a collage of all the things she's done for me, leading up to her graduation....I don't really know what kind of gift a graduate would want, even though she's graduated several times already in the past. What would be a good gift, that's perhaps homemade, but still extraordinary enough to be a great present?

Is is ok to just attend the reception and skip the Holy Mass, or should I attend both? I don't want to look bad or disrespect the family, but I'm really not interested in sitting through an hour long Catholic Mass.
