My kids hated me for telling them there was no Santa Claus. I rented some movies to show them that St Nicholas was a real person and that's where we get the stories of Santa Claus in America, although exaggerated quite a bit. Then my son asked me if I had enough money and could build a toy shop in at the North Pole, would I and could it be possible? I've often wondered whether it'd be possible to build a large factory like that, not necessarily at the North Pole, but somewhere and whether someone hasn't already done it.

too bad u r not here. I am at a Santa Claus convention right now in Branson, MO. There are over 500 professional santas here. They do a lot of work with charities and actually have given away hundreds of millions of dollars in toys, and wheel chairs, etc to many poor families though charitable work. They might not fly, but you can tell your kids Santa is real.

Yes there is a Santa Claus!!! He lives across the street from me. He gives the kids in the neighborhood balloons and candy through out the year. At the park all the kids flock around him and he is kind and gentle and has a ho hoo hoo laugh. He fixes broken bikes and skate boards. And places an occasional bandage on a knee. Everyone calls him Santa even the big guys (the Dads) of the kids. Last year Santa gave me a present for Christmas that I had always wanted. And I never told him a thing! I just wished! Yes you can build a factory with money but can you find a Santa to fill it?

Santa Claus comes from the original German name of St. Nicholas...Sinta Klaus. The factory has already been built, but it's spread out all over SE Asia, and there are even little elves who build the toys we give to our kids here in America. Well...ok...the elves are just little Asian kids, and the factories are really more like sweatshops. I'm glad you told your kids Santa doesn't exist. Christmas is about the birth of Christ, whether you believe he is God or not, and I'm tired of Christmas and Easter being to commercialized.

Oh there are real Santa Claus's everywhere. I always told my daughter that there was a St Nick & we remember the "spirit" of Christmas. There was always 1 present under the tree from Santa but she knew Mom bought the rest. We always made sure to give to others who were alone or less fortunate & it is something I still do, there's always someone who needs reaching out to.

First I believe in Santa as any Saintly person who will bless the little Children. be it Christmas or any other time sometimes , Santa does not wear a Red suite, but Santa is in the heart , don't spoil your Children's Dream of Good Doers.

there is. he is in the hearts of people. look around at the people who make Christmas for others who do not have much. those who give of themselves and their own money so that poor children can have Christmas. St. Nicholas was real and he lives through good, giving people.
