Her parents house had flooded and they were throwing away stuff. She asked me would I want this book, I said sure. She brought it to work( teacher at jdc) and when I go to open it, you could smell it. I asked one of the guards to check it out and our other co-worker that was also in the room when she gave it to me. He confirmed what it was. What should I do? Should I confront this person or let it go?

There is this person who I sit next to that disturbs me. In the test she copy my answers. When someone say bad things to her she get me involve in it. When people in my class do something for exmple, making rubish, talk when teacher is teaching she will ask them to stop. And then she does the something everytime. She is like a drama queen and when we have to do agroup work she never helps at all

When you're at work or school, do you always keep your shoes on? Or do you constantly play with your shoes by slipping them on and off, twirling them around or dangling them from your toes? Do you do this with all the types of shoes you wear?

Confused on what to do!
It's almost been 9 months since a friend of mine and I spoke. We never met; it was all online; text message; snail mail (letters). We met through a mutual friends of ours. I was a prospect at her college, so thats how we started talking and it turned int a friendship. She sent me Xmas letter ;gifts. I sent her a gifts etc. Basically she said something that bothered me (she questioned my sexuality), but she was very clumsy and rude about it too. She didn't see nothing wrong with asking, but she never apolgized. She said I had traits that she learned in her bio class- described one. I gave her a chance & after that she changed. I had to basically start the conversation & I felt like she wasn't the same person I met. I never let her know why I stopped talking to her. I didn't think she'd care. But should I go clean & tell her everything?..even after all of this time?..*She is graduating-so would it be wrong for me to at least congratulate her?..*-to keep "peace"

I just got hired 2 weeks ago...and I put availibility for pretty much all hours of the whole week. But now, I'm finding it hard to keep up with school because I'm working on the weekdays a lot. Do you think if I ask my manager for shifts only on friday, saturday, sunday she will let me? I mean I'm still new, so like won't she fire me or something? since she can get someone who is more available...

I got called fat twice in 2 days, one time by a non family member. I am kind of fat but not considered obese or anything. I’m just wondering how tactless people are these days.

Hello all..... Here's my delima, i'm entering the corprate job world again. I was running a family business for 5yrs, and have it on my resume. So when i'm going out to interviews, how would you address this when your asked about it by a prospective employer? How do companies look at this as compaired to working for a company? The owner was a family member......my dad, and i thought it was bad practice to put a family member down as a contact for previous employment?

Any suggestions/ addvice? Thanks in advance.

Do u think it's wrong to breast feed a child in public?

I don't think it's wrong at all ... I do fully endorse it, it's a natural action in wich an infint needs to eat.

Senerio: Pretend u are eating in a restaurant with two friends. One is with a baby. During our eating time, the baby starts to cry cause it is hungry, the mother takes the baby out of the car seat and starts to breast feed the baby with a blanket right there at the table. The restaurant is mostly empty, and someone shoots an ignorant look towards her like she has done someting extremly horrible.

What would be some of ur opinions on this.
keep in mind that it was done as descreet as possible

If you are in a public restroom and someone walks in on you, who should apologize? The person who unknowingly opened the unlocked door to see something they didn't want to see, or the person in the bathroom exposed who did not lock the door? I am talking about a single bathroom, no stalls so someone could look for feet. Assume the door is lockable.

I work for a dr. and we have this patient who will randomly call OVER AND OVER asking questions about contact lenses. We will give her an answer and she'll call again with almost the same question. Then she'll come to the office, ask the SAME questions, not pay anything and leave. Then call back. She does this every few months. After she places her order (same order every time) she'll call to confirm. Then she'll call the same day to re-confirm. How do we tell her to stop this madness?????

first of all, thx for opening! lol
but i have 2 questions.. and im not gonna meantion any names..

1. my band teacher made this thing called 'challenge' or watever and then its where a person can move up a few chairs by challening any person...
but wat i think is REALLY wrong is that were not allowed to decline. and some of us have things to do other than practice flute all day...
so who agrees that its unfair?
who thinks its completely fair??
i just need opinions...

2. so im 2nd chair in flute for my band, and this one person thats 3rd chair kept on asking if she could challenge me. so i said
"can u plz not do it cuz i have 5 1/2 hours of dance a week and i have violin AND flute and homework and all of that so can u not do it.."
and then she said "whatever its a free world and ur responsible for practicing so im gonna sign up"
and then i got pissed off cuz i mean whats the point of asking me then acting snotty if shes just gonna sign up?
if u think thats rude, speak :]

For me it 2 things. 1, when drivers are so busy on their cell phone, they have no idea they are about to side swipe, or run into the back of another driver. and 2 this is the big one I hate the most, when people tailgate. You driving up my as* isn't going to make me move any faster, or get you where you're going any quicker. why should I drive faster and risk getting a ticket because you're in a hurry? What about you guys?
