maybe not "micro" mini....but showing a little leg should not be prohibited. I am a very short lady and I have nice legs that I work very hard for and it gives the effect that I am taller. I don't think that women should be prohibited from looking feminine just because men can't control their sexual urges.

each work place has different rules becomes sometimes it's just not gonna help anyone get the job done dressed in an outfit you can't move in without risk of showing everything you own and that's not because men should stop staring at you it's also because with a micro skirt on you don't have the same freedom of movement you would if you were wearing something else. I tell my daughters every outfit has a purpose. Dress appropriate to the occasion and that includes taking into consideration the range of motion needed to complete the task.

As long as they do their work, I personally do not care what my colleagues wear.
However, I'm not the employer and as I work for a VERY conservative mob, I can just imagine the shock and horror a micro mini would be greeted with (or a man wearing a sleeveless t-shirt, for that matter!).
Personally, I class micro minis as 'fun' clothes ~ great for partying and enjoying yourself on the weekend.
Why ruin that by trying to bring it into the workplace? The workplace is for work, not fun.
Like board shorts for guys ~ great for the beach, but at work, you wear work clothes.
You can still wear fashionable clothes, even short skirts, without going the extra few inches into weekend wear.
Cheers :-)

Keep in mind that research, over more than a 20-year period, ALL came up with the same results: The, average, man thinks of something sex-related every 8 to 12 seconds and not one of my male friends has denied this! If it's your intention to distract the men, where you work, remember that their wives may complain = 1) you'll have to dress in a respectable manner or, 2) you may be sent packing.

Absolutely not. Apparel is a touchy subject in the workplace if there is no written dresscode. A couple years back, a girl in my company always wore really lowcut shirts and several people complained to HR, including men, and when she was approached by her boss and asked to wear more appropriate clothing to work, she sued the company for sexual harassment and won $35,000.

No. Honestly, no. Common sense is desperately needed when making decisions about what to wear to work.
If one is that desperate to show off one's butt, just moon all unsuspecting co-workers, it's faster, easier and cheaper. Think of all the money that could be saved on clothing alone.
Would you want your boss walking into the office in a Speedo? Save showing off the short comings for the family, they have a higher tolerance level. ...maybe.

Jean minis? No.
But other minis do look cute with tights (actual tights down to the toes.)
I don't think it is about how short the skirt is, it's about how classy and appropriate for the work setting it is, you know?

No, look at Oprah that's how you should dress in a workplace. Gosh do you go there to work and make a living or to get boys to look at you. Loser
