just a regular .41 cent stamp will work.

unless its a big package, then get it weighed.

If you're mailing a normal size letter, it will probably only be 1 stamp.

But if you're not sure, do your letter,.. take it to the post office.. and they will weigh it for you and tell you exactly how much it will cost.. and you can pay them.

But most letters, and bills, and cards take only 1 stamp. If it's a big or oversized card.. or a thick letter.. then you may need 2 stamps.. but that's not so common.

41cents to mail a regular letter, regular sized envelope, to anywhere in the states. If it is much heavier than usual, or is an unusual size, or you want to have it tracked or next day delivered, the price changes. This site can help you:

just to mail a regular letter though, it's 41 cents.

Just one stamp--- one price for each piece of mail. Unless it weighs over a certain amount-- over 3 pages long. Then you will need extra postage. If it's just a regular letter-- 1 stamp.
if unsure- have post office weigh it--they'll tell you if it needs more than 1 stamp.

Purchase a first class stamp. It is universal and accepted by all states. The one that has the Liberty Bell is used currently and it costs forty-one cents.

Doesn't your college offer a class on how to put a stamp on an envelope?

If it's not overweight, 41 cents. Most PO's have machines in the lobby now where you can weight it.

Ask the post office people or your mother or best friend. They should know.
