I took a cruise a couple years ago with my cousin, brother, sister, mom, and dad. I'm now married and my wife and I have been talking about inviting the same people for another cruise, and possibly inviting her mother and brother as well.

It turns out that my cousin is going on another cruise in May, and invited myself and my family to go along. My wife says that because everyone is paying for their own tickets, and because we were going to go on a cruise eventually anyways, we should be able to invite her mom and brother.

I think its inappropriate to invite her mom and brother because we accepted an invitation from someone she doesn't know and is not related to.

Who's right?

So my office mate asked me for my opinion and I am really stuck. So she has been asking her 16 yr old step daughter to go job hunting for the 5th time now, and everytime she has blown her off. So this last time she was complaining that her stomach hurt and she didnt feel good. So after her parents fell asleep she snuck out to her 18 yr old bfs house and spent the night. So we are trying to think of a suitable punishment for her, we have come up with either grounding her until school starts (thru the weekend), grounding her until she finds a job, or call her real mom and find out what punishment she sees as fit. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I want to go to the Peace Park in Hiroshima and pay my respects. Being an American how does one do that properly? After all, it was America that dropped the bomb.

My cousin Paige has a swimming pool and I have been over there. She often invites me when she has get togethers. Every once in a while some of the guests go topless and few guys (we are all in our 20's) have gotten nude. I actually went nude for the first time last week in front of her and some of her female friends. Is this ok? I mean should I make a big deal about it or am I making a big deal about it. Sometimes its fun just to skinny dip.

She found out about The Nightmare Before Christmas 3D about a week ago. Since then she's been talking non-stop about it... she's very excited. I told her we should wait for it on DVD but she really wanted to see it in the theater. This morning she bought 4 tickets, for me and her and her parents.

I never told her that 3D movies give me extremely bad headaches that last about a week, it's a bit of obscure information that never really came up. I've seen two 3D movies before; the first, The Muppets something or other. It was a 10 minute short that pretty much existed simply to showcase the technology. After viewing it I had a killer headache for a week. Then it was time for Terminator 3D, another 10 minute short. Chalking up my first headache to chance, I gave it another shot, but it wasn't chance, I had another headache. So now she expects me to go see this movie, and it's about 10 times as long as the other 3D movies that effected me so badly.

What's the best way to decline?

When there are about five girls, they string out and block the way. I mean the last one this side won't be able to talk with the last one on the other side. Okay sometimes they go boom ta da and are pleasing to the eye, but I have seen lechers bumping into the outer girl. Could'nt they walk in twos.

Is there any question that should not be asked??

I work at a daycare, and I have been really pushing the children (5 year olds) to say "please" and "thank you" and "may I" instead of "I want." I'm tired of their lack of manners - it isn't hard, I've worked with TODDLERS who know better. my question is this: if/when parents fail miserably to instill good manners in their children is it appropriate for the daycare/school to pick up the slack? How would you feel if you were a parent and knew this was happening in the classroom? I don't want parents to feel like I think they're terrible parents, but I feel the children have to learn somewhere, and if it's not happening at home, then it needs to happen at school.

I bought a new home a little over a year ago in a new subdivision. We were the first on the block to move in. We recently got new neighbors, (family of 5), and the father has asthma very bad. He comes outside to his backyard throughout the day hacking and hacking until he hawks up some flem, then spits. My question is, I built a stone patio bordering their backyard prior to their moving in and eat dinner out there quite often. I have lost my appetite many times due to this. How do I ask him to go inside if he has to do that or confront him. At times I almost LOST my dinner listening to it. I know there is medication for asthma but I don't believe he takes it? Help anyone!!!

I get so annoyed when people call me and don't leave a message. If it were important enough, wouldn't they leave a message? Would it be rude to include a disclaimer in my voicemail recording that if they don't leave a message I won't call them back?
