Your question is kind of vague, but I'll try:
1) Riding in the front seat of taxis: it's your call, but personally I wouldn't, especially if I was alone in the taxi. Call me a paranoid woman, but I ride as far away from the driver as possible - who knows what might happen? I sit in the backseat, passenger side. I'm not sure if that counts as "etiquette" as much as it counts as "personal safety preference"
2) Restaurant etiquette is pretty easy: Follow your server in, say "please" and "thank you" when asking for things and receiving, keep your elbows off the table and your napkin in your lap, keep your conversation to a dull roar so you don't disturb the other patrons, and if the service has been good, don't forget to leave a tip.
3) I'm not sure what you mean by shopping etiquette ... if you're in a group of people, don't spread yourselves out across the entire mall walkway, making it hard for people to get by. Put things back in the store where you find them if you change your mind, instead of just dumping it wherever. Be polite to store workers, even those who work on comission and might be stalking you. (Politely decline their help, don't scream at them for stalking you) Say "thank you" when you're checking out. If someone behind you has something heavy, make room on the checkout counter behind your stuff, so they can put it down. If you have a ton of stuff and the person behind you has only one or two, let them go ahead of you.
Does that help at all?

Its not more of the etiquette than of safety on riding at the back of the taxicab. You might not be aware of it but you have more space to maneouver if there should be a struggle of some kind with the one in front than if you are sitting next to him on the cab....
Restaurant etiquette? I think the basics are women first: in ordering, sitting, while the man does the talking to the waiter or waitress. It is customary to give a tip to the waiter, especially if the service is good, but check first if the charge is included in the menu. Burping is a no-no and should be done in another room or as quiet as possible.
Shopping? I guess the best thing to do is take time on things you really want to buy (to check for flaws) and dont do so if you have no plan of purchasing something.

i personally dont feel comfortable riding in the front of a taxi. i honestly would not like the taxi driver looking at me that closely. but if the taxi is going to be packed, i rather have (if in my party was a male) to sit on front with the driver.
restaurant: whay would you follow the waiter/waitress anyways. let them do their job and you jsut enjoy yourselves eating.
what are u asking about shopping?

In most major cities I would say no, however, I live in a small rural community and people do ride in the front seat, mainly because you know the cab driver personally. Strange but true.
i don't understand what your asking in the following questions there is not enough information.

Given a choice no one likes to ride in front because it's too cramped with a stranger by your side. Isn't it better to be at the back with all the space around you?
Restaurants- watch and learn.
Shopping-don't shop on impulse.
