There are striking parallels between the attitude of Americans today to their government and the attitude of the Germans in the 1920s and 1930s to theirs. The Germans were afraid to question if what they were told by their government was the truth or not, refused to see the truth behind the Reichstag Fire, (9/11) refused to see the invasion by Poland (Iraq) was a staged fake, and followed Hitler (Bush) into national disaster.

I know there is distinct line between or so I am told by the media. I have never been around blacks who did not have the same opportunites as me. But when it comes to the media there is a definite distinction I see. Children who are missing and are black are mentioned briefly. But if it is a white child they are usually given a lot more coverage. Then you hear all this stuff about the Sean Bell case. I hear people saying oh its just blacks complaining again. Sometimes I find myself thinking the same way, but thats when I start getting defensive because I feel like it is us v. them. But when I see the Sean Bell's wife/widow sitting there and the fact it could happen anyone, I really start to re-evalaute my thinking. I don't understand why over the last few years I started giving into the generalizations about other races. I guess because I felt people believed the same about me. But thats not the kind of person I want to be.

Alright, I'm going to keep it as un-stereotypical as possible, and I'm really sorry if I sound ignorant. I'm a 14 year old girl that originally lived in a small town in the middle of nowhere, USA. It was 99.9% white. However, I recently moved to an international school in another country, and it is full of people from around the world. I was really happy to get to know about new countries.

To get to the point though! There is this boy in my class who is originally from Korea, even though he speaks fluent English. I really like him, and I would consider us to be friends as we talk sometimes and help each other out. But I can't really tell if he likes me or if he is just being polite. If he's just being polite then there probably is no point in pursuing our relationship. How can I tell? Does he not like me? Or maybe he only goes for Korean girls?

I have never had a boyfriend before, so that may also be a factor of my confusion.

I appreciate the help!

I am the second oldest of ten children and I get so many different reactions when I tell people. Some think its great, others look down on it. I fail to see why it matters that my parents have a lot of kids. And all of us kids come from the same parents. Why are there a lot of people who are prejudice against big families. My family is the happiest family I know so what is the problem. We all genuinley like being together and we enjoy each others company.

if you have ever heard of the Savage Nation with Micheal Savage, its a talk show on the radio in New York. I agree with most of his views although he disagrees with minoritys being treated better than whites who he claims are the incoming minority.would it be wrong to agree and be a fan of his other views? or am i looking like a hypocrite?

I hear questions about white, so-called snobbish, ignorant people,

Im am white, but I grew up in a latino community, Yeah there are suttle differences of culture, but fot the most part I believe that they are very SIMILAR cultures and that whites, in general, are not abrasive in any way toward that difference, but a lot of latinos shape thier attitude based on the difference ,
I think the close- knit latino types tend to look for racism left and right, and will complain when it's not even there,
Ill give you an example, I was working with this Domincan girl and I would talk spanish to her sometimes in a cute way, since Im white she took that as racist behavior, and would tell everyone I was a racist idiot,,, now that is so stupid to me, I think she is the one with the problem,, I really think the fact that I was so nice to her made her more angry and confudsed becuase now she had to rethink all her ignorance and predjudice, anyone with similar experienc

I am 23 years old and am looking for some advice on my 16 year old brother Sanjay. My brother left a story he wrote out in the den. It clearly was a " sexual fantasy " letter but I am concerned about it. I feel he is ashamed to be East Indian and Hindu. He wrote this fantasy (clearly he was masturbating to this) out about he was these white girls slaves and was basically " racially inferior " in these fantasies. He talked about women degrading him and even used celebrities like Paris Hilton, Tara Reid, Jessica Simpson, Katie Holmes, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and others. They are calling him rag head, and all kind of racial slurs while he is naked. He talked about getting treated like those naked Iraqi prisoners. I am worried about many things. What should I do?
