I am the second oldest of ten children and I get so many different reactions when I tell people. Some think its great, others look down on it. I fail to see why it matters that my parents have a lot of kids. And all of us kids come from the same parents. Why are there a lot of people who are prejudice against big families. My family is the happiest family I know so what is the problem. We all genuinley like being together and we enjoy each others company.

I'm sorry to hear that people look down upon your family. A lot of people in society are very negative and I would have to agree with the others that they are just jealous. Some people also see a big family as old-fashioned since years ago many people produced a big family in order to help out with the farm and house hold chores. I believe a huge family is great, imagine in the future getting together with your whole family on special occasions.
Keep on having fun and don't let what others tell you bother you

Most people simply can't afford a big family. I certainly would never be judgmental of a big family. I may be a little jealous of the large tax deduction, but I would never look down on you. lol.
