how come it's ok for a black guy to date any color he wants, but when it comes to a black girl dating outside her race, all eyes turn as if she has just committed a crime?

I asked this question a couple of weeks ago. It's an ownership thing. People of one race feel that they own the opposite gender. Some Hispanic guys attacked a relative of mine for dancing with a Hispanic woman. Some black women get mad if black men date outside the race and some white women are the same.

Also, men like to play the double standard. They claim that it's because white slave masters raped black slave women, but if that were really true then they wouldn't date white women (who could get a black man lynched just for looking in her direction back in the day. And don't get me started on the town of Rosewood.)

Hey, I've dated outside and inside the back race. Don't let those ignoramuses get you down.

it's because they view white males as the oppressor ,but it's a very prejudice don't worry as a white guy I've dated a black girl and received hate from both races. However when they do this they are ironically being racist themselves.Look it's ok date who you want and don't let white or black people tell you what color you can date

If you permit me, I would like to answer only one part of your question. I'm French so I had to translate your asking in French, and I stopped on the word "Race" !! In fact we have the same word in French too but for me, using this terms would mean that there is different races of Human. We have 2 legs, 2 arms, a mouth, eyes etc... so There no such difference. It is just that your skin has taken more sunlight during many generation, but we are exactly the same :) I actually didn't answer your question, but at least I hope the my message was heard :) I think if people look at you strangely because your dating with a white guy, you should play on that and give big smiles to all of them.... Remember, smile is the best weapon women have :)

I have a couple of reason for you . I,m a black Man first thing it,s OK for anyone to date any one but when it,s a black woman dating a whit guy the looks you get from black people are for what happen to there four fathers and what they went through and what most of them are still going through at the hands of whites as a black man when I see a black woman with a white guy I think how could she give her self to him when no matter how right for her he might seem he could never know her never and the other thing is how could she give her self to him when he is the face that is killing her brother, father cousin and putting them in prison for way to much time and here you are smiling in this white mans face it,s a slap in the face to those of us who have held strong last thing we should not have this problem in America but we do and there are to many wounds that have not healed it,s not time for that yet I don,t see anything wrong with it but they made the rules and I am playing it to the end I hope you find your self and happiness

I'm not mad at you. As terrible as it is, black women are not afforded the same respect as other women. Not yet, anyway. When I was in college, our sociology professor showed us a chart in which the "ranking" of blacks and whites was shown, in terms of acceptability in society, and promotability in the job market. The black woman was at the bottom of the list. I argued that the chart couldn't be a true reflection of how society ranks people. Unfortunately, I have been proven wrong.

In my personal experience, black women get the fewest promotions, get the least pay, and are the least desireable choices for marriage, in the eyes of society at large. I personally do not see black women in this way, but I have noticed it around me. When ignorant people see a black woman with another race, they think to themselves that the man could do better, even if HE knows what a wonderful woman she is.

The only way people will learn to treat black women with the same respect as everyone else is for black women to insist upon it. Date who you want, marry who you want, love who you want. If they don't like it, too bad.

First, I have seen some negative reactions to black men dating white women. Anyway, it makes sense for black women (and all women) to be open to dating whomever they choose. I have witnessed first-hand (as a WM married to a BF) that people seem to only be upset at my wife for doing this rather than at me (I seem to get a free pass for the most part). I wish I had a good answer, but I do not.

you go with your heart and mind. If you care for someone don't worry about what other people think. I personally don't see nothing wrong with it. Me being a white man I would like to think we had come farther than this. The truth is I don't know if we have . Americans seem to be very racist and judge mental;. You date who you want to because people are going to talk about other people no matter what we choose to do.

Funny, nobody felt that way about my wife. We've been together for 31 years.

You will always have people disapproving what you do, no matter what you do. Live your own life, don't let others dictate how you live it.
