Many straight people, myself included, are concerned about the influence a gay couple may have over an adopted child. How can the gay community help us to overcome these fears and issues. I am looking for sensible answers and I am not insulting the gay community.

I didn't know she was a bigot until AFTER I fell in love with her. She made some comments but I thought nothing of it until about a month ago, when I found out she collects swastikas. One time we were at a restaurant when she pepper sprayed a black guy who hit on her. She even put up a picture of Hitler in her bedroom and says the Triumph of the Wills is her favorite movie! Then she told me she picked me because of my Aryan features, when I thought she loved me for who I am as an individual. I hate racism but what am I going to do? I'm in love.

do they lean a little more toward one sex ..?Like, do they say - "I love sex with guys- but I like it with girls a little bit more"?

I like looking at other women, and If the right woman aproached me, I might go out with her, but I don't know if I go so far as to say I'm bisexual- I love being with men, and I'd rather be in the company of men- I guess what I'm asking is:
Do bi sexuals Have a preference?

I've been with the most amazing girl in the world for about 3 years now. We've decided we'd like to have a baby. Unfortunantly neither of us know if it is possible. I would love everyone's help and advice. Please don't judge us for being gay, We love each other and only want to get closer by having a baby.

When a straight person finds out that I'm gay, 9 times out of 10 he or she will ask within 5 minutes of meeting me whether or not I'm a drag queen and when I say "NO" they ask me why I'm not a drag queen. Why is that?

Well, I am a bisexual 14 year old and have a crush on a 16 year old boy named "John." My friend recently told me that he "came out" to his best friend on the kick line team and she told everyone on the team and that's how my friend found out and told me. (Yeah I know that is totally wrong). Anyway, John is amazing hot and seems like a nice person.

I want to meet him and talk to him and maybe go out but I don't want to approach him and ask him out because he will wonder how I know he is gay. I am sort of in the closet too so there is no way for us to get together.

DETAILS:
-I am best friends with one of his best friends. (Mary)
-I know where he works. (Library)

Any ideas on how to find out if he is interested?

I was thinking of some good movies I saw a while back, like High Art, or one that I like even more is All Over Me, with Leisha Hailey and Mary Timony plays in it :). I like movies about music, or anything really, anything good you can recommend for me?

I have strong feelings for this "straight girl" i know ...we're somewhat good friends. We try to get togther and hang out once a week, but I see her a few times a week cause she works in a restaurant that the leasing office I work at manages. I'm 21, bi-femme, attractive looking (im pretty boastful :-) ) So anyway...at first when we first met we were cool, but with me; when I like someone im pretty obvious...so she kinda figured I was into girls. She knows now I have a crush on her, and she claims she is secure enough to be cool with it, finds it flattering and likes the attention I give her. I don't know how straight girls are when u find out a girl likes u but, I have a weird feeling she is into me as well. Maybe im overanalying..but she's invited me over to hangout and we ended up talking for hours getting to know eachother(she would ask me questions about being with a girl)...which kind of made me think she was curious at times but she would remind me she's never kissed a girl b4

It isn't because of lack of love or incompatility. My gf and I have decided that it is time to **** or get off the pot. Thinking that this would be easy. Our problem is that neither of us wants to move, quit our jobs, and start a new life in a different community. We are both highly independant mature (35-40) women and have carved out lives and homes of our own.. I want her to come and live with me and she wants me to go and live with her. Not sure what to do. Maybe that is all there is... Please don't give me any crap about maybe we don't love each other enough...cause it should be simple... and the 50 / 50 thing doesn't sound appealing to her either...

Let's say you're living in your parent's home. ur homosexual, and they're homophobic. They don't allow you to live as who you are. This behavior is obviously stupid and idiotic in so many ways and you know it, but there isn't much you can do about it. You're the child and you're living in your parents home. Yes, there's already enough that you have to put up with, dealing with all the other stupid homophobic behavior out there. But in those cases, at least you get the pleasure of walking away from it or ignoring it because you don't live together. What really can you do though if these homophobes are your parents and you're living under their roof and you want a relationship with someone of your same sex? Homophobia is stupid and needs to be attacked once in for all. How can we deal with ignorant parents who won't let their child live as who they are?

My best friend shared a really personal secret with me today, and its just bothering me. I promised not to tell anybody else, but I really do feel like I want to cry on someone's shoulders right now. Thats how much it bothers me.

So I guess my question is, will I be betraying my best friend if I told someone else about it (i.e. if I told another good freind of mine about it)? Because ...its ...just......uggggggggh..........i dunno

I dont know where else to go for advice. So I really appreciate your time for replying to this.

Thanks
