People do not choose to be gay; someone would not choose the possibility of being fired from a job due to being gay, possibly being denied an apartment or home mortgage due to being gay, being denied hospital visitation for a hospitalized partner by not being immediate family, being denied the option to file joint taxes with a partner since they are unable to marry, or being unable to inherit a partners estate without being taxed at a higher rate because they are not married.

People are born gay; scientific study after scientific study has shown that gay people have subtle biological differences from straight people.

Actually, i believe that the true natural state of orientation at birth is pansexual (whoever, whenever), but like any other trait, there are aberrations to both ends of the spectrum. It is all around us in nature, unfortunately, some people can't accept that because they think we aren't animals, but break it down, and the only difference is that we feel the need to adapt our environment instead of adapting to it.

Sorry, strayed off topic, but I think that we are born with pansexual orientation and as we develop physically, mentally and emotionally, we start to develop the basis of our general sexual orientation. I also believe that we can adapt when we love someone enough. But again, this is merely my opinion

There is no real evidence to determine if people are born gay. And if you think otherwise you will start a gay war. I dont think people are born gay, and I'm intitled to my own opinion?

Chickenhead, sweetie pie, you're not entitled to your own opinion if it's DEAD WRONG. Having an opinion is not the same as being ignorant and belligerent.

Yes, people are born gay.

If you ask most gays/lesbians, they will tell you they are because we understand that it ISN'T a choice. I believe we are born our sexuality. I started to realize I was gay when I was 12. I was living in a homophobic area, so I didn't really accept it immediately. I tried to tell myself that I wasn't gay, I couldn't be gay. I tried to like girls, but I just couldn't. I just like guys, there's no way I can change it. I've grown to believe that sexuality is just in your genes, like most basic traits.

no, gay, lesbian and straight are stereotypes and shouldn't be judged... it makes us people who understand that we're bi harder to come out
Humans are born attracted to attractiveness not a specific gender certain things trigger us to be more attracted to one or the other but we're all bisexual on the inside

I don't know, but I was born straight, so the logic is that if you can be born straight then you can be born not straight.
