Book is incorrect
First of all, look at the size of working people home a century ago, very small and no guest room.....no where their hotels for the working class......people stayed with friends and family and slept with them in their beds as guest....that is how it was
before they talk about Lincoln correspondence....look at others in the same time period..........straight men wrote very endearing letters to each other.......they sound gay....but where not...it was the language of the time
speaking of gay......80 years ago that term had another meaning....
so you have to put relationships and words in the context of the times....good historian knows this...but someone who saw agenda over historical context made a bad mistake....not all books tell the truth...............
wanting a gay President and having one is two different things
get book reviews on this book before you think it is accurate!!!
