You are in a hard situation, I believe it will not last long term unless one of you give up your life in your hometown and move, but in my opinion why don't both of you get out and go somewhere new? Yes that sounds so easy I know, the hard part is if both of you have jobs where you are now, that makes things so difficult. I guess I would have to say who ever has the better job and the town they live in is the most open then that is where the other one should go.
Me and my girlfriend have decided to move out of the state we are both from seems like the easiest thing to do.
Good luck to you, nothing can be simple....

well I don't know what to tell you ...because you have negated any answers I could have tried to give you. I'm gonna give you the crap about maybe you don't love each other enough. Love is about giving (and giving into someone else's wants/needs) and neither of you seem to be willing to do that.

i think u both love each other but are accustomed to a certain way of life,,,if u r asking this question ,,to me,,it means you are not ready yet,,,give it time,,or you will both regret it! meanwhile both of u should stay over at each others place more often
maybe you can go house hunting together and find the middle ground there,,,carve a new life,,fair to both of you! if one of u gets pushed to leave everything 4 the other,,there will me resentment,, and you might loose the most precious thing you have,,,,,, each other!
