I refer to the whole spanking debate. I know we need to protect those that cannot do so themselves (kids), however I do believe that the line does need to be drawn somewhere in this issue. Also, how can one enforce it? Please spare readers any biblical quotes or hatefilled response. This is solely to hear clear, concise opinions.

I think i'm quite lucky to be growing up today as a gay guy, compared to the way we where treat upto just 20 years ago. And yet i still see all the small minded bigotry all over the world, anti gay laws/gay adoption/marriges etc but atleast at school i didn't have to face any such troubles. What i want to know is what is general peoples opinions towards Gays today?

I got a violation.. do to my answer to this question here is the link.. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuBC8jk9q4SV1aYsvUbZX9IjzKIX?qid=20070124192342AAHMj8h

my answer was Simply... Do you even read the news? Your children are no safer in christian school.. I am thankful to not associate with people as ignorant as you.

Why did I get the violation? This woman Is plainly disrespectful more so than what I had wrote..

This Place really should be looking into the questions.. before sending the violation its self.. She was asking for a opinion and she got it.. so whats the problem? I am lost.. I think the others have answers along the same line as my own..

First off, I know that this is a generalization, but I'm asking about general statistics. It seems like the straight male world (which most often incites homophobia) seems to be more accepting of female homosexuality (ie. two girls kissing, etc.). Taking this into account, do you think that in general, lesbians experience less homophobia directed at them than gay males do?

I know the obvious answer, find a gay guy. Well, that pans out sometimes..sometimes no. I found a few and they are cross-dressers or too feminine even for me! Are there any normal gay people out there?

Well I feel that marriage should be about love, and not race, religon, ancestory, or gender. God created love so I have no problem with gay marriage. I just wanted to ask...Why are do soo many people hate it? Like its some huge sin?
Why shoudl some tell others how to live their life.
I also wanted to see if any of you were able to go on
http://myspace.com/isupport
its just a group for myspace members who support more than just gay marriage but alot of other things too.
Please support!!!!

Thanks Gabby.

We are both teens and she always makes jokes about being a lesbian, and she likes to "grind" on girls at school dances but she goes out with guys and does things like that. She is one of the popular girls at school, so I don't want to ask her just in case she isn't and she tells everyone I was wondering about that. Is there anything I can do or anything like that? Please help

Assuming that it's something that starts and could be prevented during pregnancy - should society try to eliminate it?

What about:

Gay culture today?
Benefits to society of diversity?
Overpopulation?
Slippery slope concerns? (Eliminating short/ugly/female babies?)
Gay people saying they wouldn't want to be straight if given the choice?

It would be really interesting to get the perspective of gay people on this question.

Hey, everyone. I've been hearing that homosexuals are bornthat way, and many have cited scientific evidence in an attempt to prove it, such as the hippocampuses in homosexuals being different from those of heterosexuals, and so forth. Evidently, serious scientific investigations are being conducted on th brain and sexuality.
What I am disturbed by, though, is that pedophiles also argue the same point; they say that they, too, are born with an inclination to like children. What further troubles me is that serious scientific investigations are being conducted in this field as well to discover the neurological/biological reason for this. Examples are studies trying to find a correlation between pedophilia and dementia, and psychiatric spectrum disorders, etc.
But if pedophiles say that it is ot their fault, and they're born with it, why do we not accept their natural inclinations? Because it is a disease? How do we know that these differences reported between heterosexual brains and ..
