Not to be stereotypical or make a gross generalization, but isn't the right ear generally considered the "gay" ear for piercings? I could be wrong, and I feel so stupid saying this, but I definitely heard it somewhere, although, that could have been a long time ago, I don't remember, maybe there's been a social shift since then.
