Depends on where you live. I live in California and we are all over the place! Especially in the Bay Area. There tends to be a heavier black lesbian population within larger cities. Atlanta is also a HUGE mecca for black people in the lifestyle.

Because there are less black women in general. That's why it's called being a "minority". As for where to meet them - definitely the more populous areas - NYC, L.A., Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Houston, etc. If you don't live anywhere like that, check with your local college or university. There is usually at least one LGBT organization of some sort. They are often aware of the resources and groups in your community and can help point you to the best place(s) to meet someone.

I don't think there is less. But I certainly believe that in the black community there is a stronger stigma when it comes to homosexuality. So, that being said less people out openly out. Its like a constant guessing game.

Now you mention it I have not really come across any. My best mate was a Lesbo and she was black but i think she was just confused cos she got married a year ago to a man.

Just keep your eye's peeled i guess
