You will know when you are ready.

Depends on how responsible you are? Are you willing to risk having a child or picking up an STD? I don't recommend doing it for love. Do it to have sex. I had a chance when I was 18 to have sex with a girl I really liked, only I chose not to because I wanted to be closer to her, turns out we never got around to it and I lost my virginity to when I was twenty to some "whore" who gave me chlamidia. Find someone you know and trust towards the end of high school, wear a condom, and enjoy. Don't become obsessed with it as good as it feels. Don't get married to lose it; test drive a few cars before you buy one. You'll be having sex for the next 40 years so don't get too hung up on it.

I don't think there is any right age, I guess its when you are ready to handle the possible consequences. I waited till I was 18 (long after my friends) and well I was really happy I waited cause the birth control failed and next thing we knew we had a baby. It was difficult to say the least. Don't lose your virginity unless you are ready and make sure you practice safe sex, but remember no method is 100%.

I don't think there is "good" age to lose your virginity. But my opinion is to save your virginity when the time is right. And when the time is right, that's when you know you've met someone special.

Whenever you want with whomever you want. If you want to lose it at age 5 or 50 to a hot guy or girls, go right ahead. It's your body and life. Do what you want with it. If you're gay, bisexual, or bicurious, I can help you out. I love being the first one with a virgin guy or girl. How old are you anyway??

When you're mature enough to handle the consequences. Your body will be ready waaayyyyy before your brain will. But if you have enough brains, and use them, you'll wait until your emotional maturity catches up to your physical level.
It's not something you can put an age-number on.

I lost my virginity last year when I was 17, and it seemed like an appropriate age.

there is no right or wrong age to lose your virginity. It is when you are ready and you and your mate are in love and you feel the time is right.

You can't put an age on it. Everyone is different with their own different life experiences.
If you asking for yourself, I would say that when you are secure enough with yourself not to ask others (much less a bunch of strangers on a Q&A board) when and how to begin your sex life, then perhaps then you can start wondering if you are ready.
Just remember, none of us can answer that for you!

It's all up to the person and how right the situation feels, for me it was 14, for some 16 and for others it can be 20. All I know is that you should probably NOT be having sex in middle school and i would say high shcool is the right time!

Wait until you've had a couple of steady, no-sex relationships first. That way you'll have a good idea of what you are looking for. I know its hard sometimes!! but its well worth it!
