the hyman being broken has nothing to do with virginity. it can happen from any number of things. virginity is nothing but an idea invented to control women's sexuality. if a women has had anal sex, is she still a virgin, if a woman has sucked off a hundred men is she still a virgin? if a woman has been penetrated by another woman with a strap-on is she still a virgin? if a woman has had someone else's fingers inside of her, regardless of gender, is she still a virgin? i would hope all of these questions point out the ridiculousness of the traditional idea of virginity.

look at it this way: my gf has had close to 60 women in almost every way you can imagine. top, bottom, oral, anal, manual, penetrative... but she has never so much as looked at a man in a sexual way much less been touched. do you think that she is a virgin?

No.
Sex with another person counts regardless whether the sex was oral, anal, or vaginal.
The hymen is not a medical standard to "measure" virginity, there are cases of the hymen being ruptured during vigorous athletic activities that had nothing to do with sex.
There may be things you haven't done with another person but once you've been with someone else sexually, the title "virgin" no longer applies.

I was married for 21 yrs, and had a daughter. I thought being married would cure me of my gay feelings. I to was a Christian fundie, so being gay was an abomination. I tried doing what I could to get rid of them, but nothing worked. It was when my wife left me for another man, that I decided to stop living the lie, and be true to myself. It has been about 5 yrs now, and I have been the happiest I have ever been in my life, met a wonderful man 3 yrs ago, and I finally know what true unconditional love is.

I would say you are playing with semantics and are a "technical" virgin.

Sex is Sex is Sex.... and having sexual relations with someone else [in any form] can and does affect virginity and innocence

However many will argue that virginity has to do with breaking the Hyman.... well what about those of us who had little to none...... this is truly one that could be argued for hours on end...

it really depends on your definition of virgin. i've never stuck my erect penis into a vagina, but i certainly have stuck my tongue into a few.. i also had my hands on another man's penis the other day... virgin? in most people's eyes.. sexually experienced? yes..

the concept of virginity usually implies purity and sexual inexperience.. if you've had lesbian sex, then you are neither..

if you wanna call yourself a virgin, then go ahead.. it's just a label. it's something you can write down on paper.. but it really doesn't define you or your sexuality, or especially your confidence and sexual experience...

"A person who has never had sexual intercourse"

^The definition of virgin, mentioning nothing of hymen. If you have had sex then you are not a virgin no matter the sex of the other person and no matter what the state of your hymen is.

Most definitely. Virginity is based on heterosexual inter course . If you haven't had sex with a man then your a virgin. If your male and you haven't had sex with a woman than your a virgin. I'm in my forty's and by society's standards still a virgin.

No, not unless your hyman has been broken. Or if you're using sex toys. But having sex with someone is just that, rather its with a male or female.

Virginity is more of a state of mind.
