I am looking specifically for a website that has like a forum where queer men who are not into the "mainstream queer culture" talk about issues that are important. What I am NOT after are gay dating sites or hook-up places. I am interested to know, if anyone knows, of a site or sites, that cater's for gay men/boys who perhaps are labelled "alternative"?

My opinion is that a homophobe is someone who directs hateful remarks towards people with a different sexual orientation.

Do not say that it's just their opinion, because their is a difference between hate speech and opinion.

E.g. Opinion - I do not agree with your lifestyle.
Hate speech - Should we tag gays to make sure they do not come near children?

How would you classify someone as a homophobe? What characteristics do you look at when you call someone a homophobe?

Picture this...
Keep in mind that youre faithful to the one you love, and dont consider anyone else as anything other than friends...
You arent allowed to talk to certain people; some old friends, people that you once upon a time... cared about
You can't recieve phone calls from other's (particularly other females) and when you do... its often a fight that results
You're not allowed to have friends, that your other doesnt know about....
... these among many other things...
What would you do, if you were being controlled?

Like in Schools? I think they should stay about 500 metres away at all times. We should build gay detectors by tagging gays so if one approaches the school the kids will be warned.

I know it may be funny and of course it is great to have openly gay characters on T.V., but do you think it is a hardcore stereo type? Will this show be frowned upon and an embarrassment in the future? I don't understand why there are not any guy characters on TV who are guy but do not make a stereo type mockery of being guy. Who on TV is a good guy role model?

My previous post on this topic was deleted as "Not being in the form of a question."
Here is the Toast I would propose. Those who feel uncomfortable with this may leave the room if they so desire.

" Here's to us Lasses and Lads, to those we love, especially those who have passed on but remain in ever fonder memory, to those who support us and those who let us get on with our lives.
To those who wish or would cause us harm, may your lives be saved by Gay surgeons and your life support betended by Gay {or very happy} Nursing staff.
May the Earth Mother bless and care for us now and in the future." Chairperson Rose.

To those who replied previously, please gain another two points, especially zea m who reminded me of those no longer with us.
Kind regards, Rose P.

Why do they have to disguise their sexual preference? Freddy Mercury of Queen, George Michael, ect. sing songs about loving, making love, etc., to women. Is it because deep down they know that Gay/Lesbian relationships are immoral, and they wouldn't be able to sell songs about same sex relationships?

My 14 year old stepson was in my 12 year old daughters bedroom, and he begged her to apply makeup to his face. She refused at first, but finally gave in. When his father and I entered the bedroom, it was a shock to see him sitting on the bed totally clad in foundation, powder, lipgloss, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. He also had my daughter's glittery body spray on. AND he had some styling gel in his hair. The thing about it was he looked completely comfortable in the makeup. In fact, his facial movements mimmicked a feminine female's perfectly. However, when he saw how his father was looking at him (he was about to explode), his demeanor changed dramatically. He was very uncomfortable and was very nervous as he tried to reassure his dad that he's "straight". He asked several times, "Dad, are you mad??" I tried to smooth it over, telling him that his dad was just shocked. I also told his dad that IF he is gay, he'd rather him say "I'm gay" than "I have 6 months to live." He agreed.

My wife's ex-bf won't leave us alone because she left him, then later when she met me she fell in love and hasn't looked back since. How should I go about explaining to him that no matter what he does she's not leaving me. He abused her mentally, and physically I believe. He says he's mainly upset because she left him for a girl. Would he actually feel better if she had left him for a man with a bigger dick?

I'm a lesbian and I've been dating my girlfriend a long time and I love her very much. Our relationship is pretty great (except that she's away in the army right now). The only problem is, her WHOLE family (parents, siblings, aunts, uncles... etc.) is really religious. Her parents found out about one of her and her exes once, and they punished her and sent her to therapy and all kinds of nasty stuff until she said she was "cured". Neither of our families know about our relationship (with the exception of my little, very accepting sister), but I feel I'm ready to come out to my family. My girlfriend tries to tell me not to for fear of my parents telling her parents and being disowned. I asked her once how she'd rather come out: them finding out, or her telling them, and she said neither. I don't want to force her to come out, but I'm afraid we'll never get to live the life we both want if she doesn't tell them. And soon. What should I do, if anything?

I know there are female celebrity that pose nude for Playboy, but what male celebrity would you like to see pose frontal nude for playgirl? Personally I would like to see some of the WWE wrestlers such as John Cena,Randy Orton, and Chris Masters pose nude.

My best friend lee who i asked was he gay before and he said no. Dammit i trusted him. I should have known by the way he looked at me and the silly games he would play. All the girls go crazy over him, and he has lots of girlfriends. He's Black mixed with Latino. I hit him pretty hard when i found out. He had someone tell me that he likes me and wants to be with me. Then he said lee is Bi. So i asked Lee and he said yes I am....SLAPPP!!!!! After all this time, and we ware getting ready to become roomates. He is still my best friend and he said he didn't tell me because he didn't want to break up the best friendship he ever had. I make jokes about it know.
