Sexual orientation is an innate and immutable psychological characteristic determined by the neural configuration of the cerebral cortex, most likely the result of ambient hormonal conditions during gestation acting on genetic predispositions. It is hardwired into the brain before birth. The sexual orientations of the parents plays absolutely no role at all. There is no reason in the world that gay parents should not be able to raise children, adopted or their own.

I'm sorry to see how narrow minded you are. My daughter's second grade teacher was gay. I think she was a fantastic teacher and I can only speak highly of her. I don't believe gay people are any more likely to harm a child than straight people.

Should all Catholic Priests be forbidden to work with children?Same idea.The only difference is that rarely does a homosexual have sex with children.But several priests have had sex with children or at least fondled them.Does that make all priests predators?And does that mean that if one or two people of a minority group or religion does something then everyone who is part of that group or religion does it also?And statistics show that it is heterosexual men that are more often and more likely to prey on children.

How in the world would that help? Obviously, you've never read any of the statistics. There are many more GIRLS molested than boys. That is not to discount the experience of boys who have been abused. There are far too many boys who are molested but the vast majority of perpetrators are men who are seemingly heterosexual. They often have wives and children of their own. They prefer young kids. Gay men prefer adult men. They generally like muscles and deep voices and facial hair and other masculine secondary sex characteristics that young boys lack.
