I am a bi guy in highschool that haves a secret boyfriend in highschool. Trying to not let society see that we have a relationship with each other. Do you think you can keep gay relationship secret in highschool. Sometimes I would find myself giving him the eye contact forgeting we suppose to be keeping it secret. We are both 16 years old. In public we act like were just friends

Yes its possible to keep it a secret. As others have said it is probably best to wait till after you are out of HS to let your love be shown in public. Kids can be cruel when they are trying to impress eachother.

I wish the two of you the best luck!

It's hard sometimes in high school. Take it from a girl in the "real world." High school is so much harder than life after. If you make it through high school you can make it in life. If you have to hide your relationship right now I completely understand. So here are some pointers. Try to find something small that no one would notice and pass it between you during the day. Like a pen or tablet. It sounds dumb but when you want to hold them it kinda helps when you know that that stupid pen you are writing notes with was they one they used last class. If you want to give them a note, pass it through a girl. That one works wonders. Just make sure it's a girl that won't give the game away. It is possible to hide it though. It's going to be a strain. If it your parents would except it then it might just be better to let school know. All those people won't matter after you graduate. Trust me on that.

Why would you feel a compelling desire to keep it secret?
Are you truly so consumed with what other people think? It would appear to me that the straight kids in school could give a damn what you think about it why should you care any more about their opinion?
My only contention is that you should keep your relationship out of school as you are there to learn- not to socialize.
Use fear as a reason for keeping it a secret and you'll be a doormat for the rest of your life.
To hell with the school bullies- if someone confronts you on the matter simply respond in kind rather than rolling over and waiting for the next kick.
Is it your plan to remain in the closet for the rest of your life? Stand up for yourself and try not to follow others in the conformist sheep mentality that controls their lives.
What gratification is there in being a coward and a robot?
I myself would rather expose the narrow-minded, ignorant, shallow, scum of the earth for what they are and stand defiantly before them cursing the ground they walk on instead of bowing to them out of fear.
Don't use your boyfriend's desire to keep it a secret as an excuse either- how attractive can he really be if he's a sissy?
Gay, bi, straight- it doesn't matter. Nobody should be ashamed of what they are.

It is jus the beginning stage when you will feel this way.. Many of us may think that the society may not accept it but when we look at another angle, some countries do accept it. What you actually need is talk to someone who can be trusted. It may not be someone you know. Share your problems and you will feel better this way. I will be glad to be your listening ear and give you advice if possible. Can reach me at sg_8788@yahoo.com. Remember this: Its not healthy to keep all problems to yourself, share it.

I think you can as long as you are careful. I see no problem with how you feel and I think when you are ready to let others in you will. Just try your hardest if that is really what you want to do.

I'm sorry that you have to live life that way, but in reality young people are stupid.....it's sad, but it might be better to wait until y'all are out of high school to come out...I've heard so many horror stories about bad things happening to guys in high school who get singled out. Just enjoy the "affair" that you have, because if your relationship lasts, you'll miss this feeling that you have now!

I would read the book "Geography Club" by Brent Hartinger. Its a fun book, and close to your situation.

Keep it secret until you are done with high school and in college/living on your own. Then you can be yourself and tell everyone who dislikes you to f'uck off.
