it would help the curb the morons who constantly clone/create new accounts everyday because they are suspended so much. won't get rid of all of them, but cut them down quite a bit!

I have been on answers a long time and when it first started there was no problem with all the crap questions , I think it may help but there ares some people on here that are just jerks and like to ask stupid questions to annoy everyone else .

What does it matter , only one out of forty questions ( even months ago ) was a real question. Most of its chatting ( my boyfriend is 800 miles away , what am I going to do ? )

Its either a basher or a gay talking about a perverted fantasy here.
Seldom was there a true " I dont know so I'm asking" question.

So if it is just going to be entertainment , then let it entertain.
Look back at the I hate OLGA posts , that wasnt a gay basher but a hetero basher.

Maybe if people were asking real questions , people might take this section seriuosly.

YES!!! I love it!!!

The repeat abusers would have to work a whole lot harder to be able to continue their bigotry.
ONlY one problem that I foresee and that would be that rule might only encourage more HACKERS.

ONE of the repeat abusers here already practices hacking of the Yahoo! Answers User Profile Creation Date signature.

Oh boy, a good idea is to have rooms for specific levels. So all Level 1s can only Q and A on level 1 rooms, etc

if not then make the start of point only 10 point not 100
that way they would have to aswer questions before they asked them well as many at least
but then they will only answer questions with there cr@p anyway
what ever it takes some thing need to be done

I don't think it would make a positive difference... you'd just have the trolls spamming answers in 'friendly' areas to reach level two - or spamming more troll-responses to serious questions, and you'd lose a lot of questions from new people who need answers.

It would cut down on habitual offenders. I'm not sure if it would drive away new participants if they had to wait that long to ask a question. I think if they have to have 100 points, that would work well because new participants could only ask one question the first day.

Maybe. But then again it wouldn't really help, people would only accumulate points until they got to level 2, and then they'd start asking questions.

Kuji makes sense. If ir were lvl 2 the site would lose people, 100 points is good. It's not alot of points but they will still have to, atleast, maintain a civil attitude for a while.
